Conversations With God Book 1, Volume 2: Life's Great Questions (Conversations with God (Audio)) Audio CD – Abridged, September 1, 2009

I am reading this book for a second time, and also bought copies for my children. Very thought provoking and good material for older children in these times when anything 'religious' seems to be 'outdated' for the younger generation. Some criticize Walsch as being a phony, but don't we all have intuitive feelings and thoughts? Maybe God is talking to all of us, but we just are not listening.

Beautiful. I find so much peace listening to it. I've listened to it twice and will have to listen many more times to fully grasp the lessons.

The same as with Volume 1. God and freedom. Ed and Ellen are truly having a conversation with Neal which keeps you so engaged with the audio.

I won't get into a review of the content of the book, except to say that it is well worth reading, if for no other reason than to challenge and stretch your thinking about God and ourselves as well. My problem with the audiobook is in the portions read by actor Ed Asner, someone I have usually admired. Unfortunately, his reading of God's answers to the author's questions often make God seem grouchy, harsh, and demeaning. (In contrast, Ellen Burstyn's portion of the reading is a breath of fresh air.) It is hard to receive the message sometimes when it is delivered in such an unpleasant manner. I have listened to all three audiobooks, and read the first two, and would recommend sticking to reading the books yourself to get the most out of them.

Comforting,inspirational,highly recommend during times of difficult passages.

Unbelievable how this book is changing my life-I'm so inspired every time I listen to these beautiful words. I'm rediscovering who I am!
