Excellent mouse!
It is a very comfortable mouse. it fits my hand perfectly. The top has a somewhat grainy feel, and i feel that it gives it a nice texture to it. It also has a nice spot for the thumb and the little circles on there give it a slightly more grippy feel. The scroll wheel scrolls nicely, and you can feel each scroll. All the buttons click very well, though i kind of wish the dpi button was a little higher because it is a little awkward to push it. It also has nice looking metal on parts of it which make it look really nice along with the bullet holes that make it look like you just took it out of some FPS game. It also has a sort of strong looking cable, which i found to be nice. It was somewhat long also, so it has no problem with being too short to reach the computer. The mouse moves very smoothly on any surface. I was using it on my bed and it performed just as well on my wood desk and a mousepad. It has a smaller laser hole on the bottom to prevent from dust. The dpi button also lights up with various colors. There are 5 dpi settings that can be adjusted using the program you can download from the A4tech site. The program lets you program all the buttons and the dpi of each one. The colors help you determine which profile you use. It lights up dim red, green, yellow, brighter red, and the last one is a red and yellow that alternate. The thumb buttons on the side are set to default as a back and forward button for browsers and such, and the button by the scroll wheel is set to triple click, which is supposed to be for FPS games. However, those all can be changed in the program. What i found nice about the program was that you could disable some of the profiles, so you could have less than 5, which makes it easier to find the profile you need for specific games, since i didnt need 5 different settings for certain games, and that would cause cycling through them a pain. When i got it, i got a free directron lanyard and also 5 replacement pads for the pad things on the bottom of the mouse, which i found to be useful. One thing i found about the mouse is that the software does not work correctly with a usb 3.0 slot. I'm not sure if that's a problem with some drivers i have with it or something, but i couldn't load new configurations for the buttons while it was in my usb 3.0 slot, but in usb 2.0, it worked fine. Just something to noteOverall, it was a great mouse, and i bought it for about $25 with shipping, and it came about a day earlier than the expected date :)

Great for the price!
I was looking for a high quality laser mouse for cheap, and I got exactly that. The software is a bit lazy and kind of buggy, but other than that, it's just fine for me.

So far this is the best feeling mouse I have ever used
So far this is the best feeling mouse I have ever used. The cord is braided and not that stiff plastic junk others use. I have had no issues grabbing it, it just feels how it should and my fingers go to spots that are fine to use this mouse with. It is a bit smaller than a m100 (I do not want to use that mouse again, ever.) but is much more comfortable to use and I am used to mice where my ring finger and pinky are not on said mouse. For best results on comfort, use a mouse pad (I see so many people trying to use it on a bare surface, your fingers go on that surface too). The click sound the mouse makes is quieter than all other mice I have used (... did it really take 15+ years to design something quieter?) and quite happily allows for faster clicking for instances I need to do that. Some other mice seem to genuinely limit clicking speed.I generally do not use the DPI swap button or the other extra buttons and they do not get in the way of using the mouse. My experience has always been adjusting Windows mouse control for sensitivity. This goes well with that while using the DPI button set to solid red (2nd highest, highest setting alternates between yellow and red).I ordered 2 of these so I really can avoid touching that m100 mouse unless it's a really bad emergency. The only thing I cannot give information on is durability. These 2 mice are new (<1 month).

Awesome
This mouse is awsome to have for gaming big time. Aot of the buttons are a bit confusing at first but once you get use to it, it goes well. I like it its a little more accurate than my optical mouse I had which was dieing anyway. Its great! The laser is a constant contact on surface and it will only move if you the mouse, but if it was an opitcal it would twitch here and there because its a camra not a laser. Laser mice are more reliable for percision movements....

Multiple owned. Great
I have had 3 mice, all the same model as this. Love the grip and feel. The ability to switch back and forth on windows explorer tabs and even chrome tabs is work the price tag alone. great buy

Neat little mouse
It came with a small installment disk for the software, which surprised me a little. The program allows everything on the mouse to be customizable. You can completely customize profiles, up to 5, to where a mouse click can be copy or paste and these profiles are color coded on the mouse. These are changed by the click of a button, under the scroll wheel, that changes color to match the settings on each profile. You can also see the profile number you are using in the system tray. Just be careful, if you change your system locale, it will change the language the program uses. The mouse claims it can work on any surface, but it does not work on my main gaming surface; a red couch. I tested it on many other surfaces (except water) and it works well on those. The mouse has a customizable report rate that can range from 125Hz to 1000Hz and when set all the way up, I have seen it reached over 1200Hz.This mouse has a wide range of usability, but since it doesn’t work on my main gaming surface, it will make a really good backup mouse.* I received this product at a discounted price, in exchange for providing honest feedback - All views expressed here are of my own and not influenced as a result of the discount.
