Perfect for projecting sewing patterns.
I use this for cutting sewing patterns and it’s perfect. I can’t say what the quality is like for sound or picture quality when watching films, but for projecting a pattern onto a table/cutting mat it is is absolutely ideal. It was easy to set up and calibrate and to use, I just plug it into my laptop and press a button on the remote and I’m good to go.

Great little budget projector
This APEMAN projector is the first I have owned, purchased for a bedroom. First impressions are pretty good, the picture is bright in a dark room, and bright enough in evening light (as pictured). The picture quality is good from my amazon firestick, would never compare to a HD tv, but does the job well for a movie night. One criticism here is that the focus is not RAZOR sharp, but this is a budget projector at the end of the day. I cannot comment much on sound quality as it is connected to speakers, but you quickly forget about the fan noise (no reference to know if it is loud or not). Overall I am very impressed with the projector and would recommend to friends.

For the price this is a great projector
So long as the room is not too bright this projectors works very well. I also use it outdoors - at dusk and after it works great. Picture clarity is good, and connection options all you need (hdmi, usb, SD card, etc). Easy to set up. It's never going to be bright enough for midday use like an expensive projector but for the price it is very good indeed. That's why I give it 5 stars - it's the price to quality balance, not that this is comparable to 1000 quid projectors. Its also quite small - not really small like nano projectors but house brick size. So I take it on holiday for the kids to watch films in evenings - it fills a villa wall!Only downside is the remote is quite budget. It works but you need to point it directly at it and often press a few times to make it work. So I tend to use the (very solid) buttons on the projector itself.

Warning: iOS with Netflix and Aoole TV+
This is a great projector except for one big problem. If you want to play Netflix or Apple TV+ from an iPad or iPhone you won't get any sound (confirmed by the manufacturer) Disney, Amazon, YouTube all work fine so if you don't want Netflix or Apple TV+ or don't want to play them from an iOS device its a great little projector but otherwise it has a serious problem (don't know whether its the same for Android or not). One other more minor problem is mounting it on a tripod. The LC350 has a dedicated tripod socket which works fine. Unfortunately the LC550 you have to use the hole the levelling foot is screwed into. And that hole is recessed too far for a standard tripod screw to engage. The silly thing is where the mounting hole is on the LC350, on the LC550 there's a unthreaded hole in the plastic. So its not as if they couldn't have used the same solution on both.

Average performance for an average price
I bought this as I was familiar with the brand. The quality of the image wasn’t as sharp as I’d expected, as it wasn’t true 1080, only “supported”. This made a big difference for me and I decided to return it. It was also awkward to position for a good picture as it had to be directly in front of the viewing surface. Overall if these points don’t bother you too much, it’s a good price for an average projector. The return and refund process was smooth and trouble free.

Cheap and cheerful, colours ok, fan loud - probably still quite good for the (very cheap) price!
Should first say that I got this for £80 and that upgrading requires a much large sum of cash, so it is very well possible that this remains one of the best options under £100. I've installed it in the bedroom, which means i am really not fussed about needed to draw the curtains to get good brightness, that works with me. I would say however that the fan is super loud for me, even though i've read a few times during my research that this was one of the quiet ones in the price range - this may very well be true, too. No idea. Contrast can be low and n terms of colours they can be quite saturated, that won't bother you most of the time, but your black often end up with a strong blue hue, and there are one or two cases of white on white pictures where you lack the contrast to really tell the shapes apart... but again that's fine when it's moving. The reds are quite intense too, so every now and then someone will look like they put a lot of really weird make -up on. Be happy with all that, and you'll be happy with the purchase. I've plugged in a firestick 4K which makes quite a big diff in terms of pixelisation, i think. I've tried streaming from sites but the quality was much too poor for my now almost 1x2m screen (that's fun though).

Very good value
I bought this primarily for projecting my photographs, and watching movies as a secondary task. It is very small and light, so eminently portable. It has lots of connectivity and a built in media player menu. The projector does have one outstanding feature and that is the built in speakers are pretty good - lacking in bass to an extent, but clear and certainly good enough if you don't have a home cinema or soundbar to add. The native resolution of 720p is very definitely enough for the role it is intended to fill, bearing in mind that DVDs for example have a much smaller native resolution and are always upscaled for playback. The lumen rating is I suspect a little generous, but it is bright enough. Overall this is an excellent projector at this price point and I therefore recommend it.

A surprisingly well-equipped projector
For the price, I think this is a good projector, as long as you are managing your expectations and decide beforehand what specs you want from a projector. The picture quality and colour is pretty good - it's not 1920x1080 but a good projector at that native resolution will be three times the price. the build quality is decent and the range of interfaces included is really good (VGA, HDMI, USB, Audio jack etc.). The internal speaker is better than I was expecting but isn't good enough of course for all uses - I plug a mini speaker in for films. The keystone adjustment is pretty good, and the brightness is fine. Don't expect it to be bright enough to project while it's still light outside! For that level of brightness expect to pay a lot. The remote works fine, and there are buttons on the device also. I have left it on for a few hours (gaming and watching films) and the fan has kept it pretty cool throughout.I didn't want to pay too much for a projector, and what I got with this I am really happy with.
