The older antenna was good, but one station
OK, now please read the update below. First the original review from a bit more than a year ago: Bought this to replace an older RCA amplified antenna, perhaps a 1450 (not marked and the box is long gone). The older antenna was good, but one station, a UHF station, pixelated on windy days and with the kitchen LED bulb on. The 1750 is designed to pull in UHF better so I decided to give it a try. It works like a charm. I researched a lot of antennae, and in one review the RCA was the best all around; that's why I decided to stay with the brand and style. By the way, we have our antenna is the attic, which made it necessary to buy a longer cord, but we get every station in all of the three nearby cities (none farther than 40 miles away), clear and strong. Beats paying for cable. Reviews indicate that each situation is unique, and one antenna of similar "power" may work best where another fails. Trial and error seems the only way to pick the best one for any given situation. The RCA works exceptionally well for us. * Update: about a year later, we had lost a station and several were pixelating at times. After corresponding with an RCA engineer I've realized that this antenna was not designed for use in an attic, (I guess it gets too hot) and that may explain why it stopped working as well. I recently bought a Clearstream 4, which would not pick up all stations in the attic, then moved it to the roof. We're back to getting all stations with the Clearstream. And I did buy the extended warranty this time. I think the RCA is a strong antenna, if you can use it in an optimal position in your house (second floor or a two story, for example). It originally picked up stations better than the Clearstream when set up in the same place in the attic.

Works
Had to replace one just like this one. Took me awhile to find it. The replacement was due to a short in wiring as a result of moving. Had it for 4yrs. It was good and this one is as good if not better. We find that keeping the leg stand off and putting the antenna on a bar chair works best for where we are located. I recommend this one. We live in a area that we seldom get any signal and we are getting around 20 channels. This includes our local channels.

It's a mistake to try better luck to anyone else might have a better luck or spot.
I guess the city of San Francisco is just not the place for this Antenna :( Looks great and it does not work. Maybe six stations most in spanish and cut in and out no matter what room or position it's in. I'm using Samsung TV's 55" and 60". No luck

Helps cut Cable cost of box rentals,
This antennae works extremely well in my 2nd story bedroom. I use it to eliminate the cable box and save that cost every month. It is Very easy to set up and receives the local channels out of Philly, I am about 35-40 miles from there. I now have this model in 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. It receives channels in HD if your TV is capable. You will be surprise of the side channels that you receive. It is not unattractive either to hang on the wall.I recommend it to all my customers.

Works great and saves a lot of money
I bought this antenna for to getting rid of my $150/month cable expense. I watch only about 3 hours of TV every week (except during March Madness) and that’s the real reason I got it. I live in the middle of Nashville and it works great. I get a very clear reception on about 20 channels. Sometimes it will freeze when the Life Flight helicopters fly over, but other than that I have been very happy with this antenna.

Depends on your area
I guess it really depends on where you live because I could not get any reception out of this antenna. I ended up buying a $3 dollar antenna and got more reception out of that. The only thing I got out of this was 3 Japanese channels and 4 church channels. I could not get any of the regular stations at all. No channel 5, 7,9, 11, none of the basic channels, I couldn't even get the news. I'm gonna say it's okay but it depends on your area but it did not work for me.

Multi-directional antenna works great!
I just installed an RCA ANT1750F Amplified TV antenna and it is working fabulously. It is "multi-directional" so there are no "rotation" issues. I had a $20 amplified rabbit ear antenna from Target that pulled the same channels but I had to rotate it when I switched channels for best reception. I was able to mount it on an inside wall facing the direction of the stations I can pull. The amplifier cleared up a problem I had with one of the channels. Getting ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, CW and STAR networks from about 30-35 miles away.Cable cutting party only days away!

Excellent digital antenna for picking up digital free to air channels.
I bought this to replace my analog antenna. I connected the RCA digital antenna to my foxtel IQ4 to receive the local free to air digital channels in my area. It works great and like the long antenna lead, and used an extension to connect directly to my foxtel box. You can either wall mount it, or it comes with a stand. I used the stand as I have a shelf above my window, and it fit perfectly. Its big a lot larger than most of the digital antennas I have seen, but has a long range as well. Picture and sound quality is excellent. I did not need to use the signal booster however its dual voltage 110 -240 volts so can be used with an adaptor plug for your country.

Not a 60 mile antenna, save your money, and get an outdoor antenna instead to mount to your rooftop
When I plugged this flat panel antenna into my HDTV with the included amplifier, I was still getting severe signal loss problems on the majority of the OTA Toronto channels, when I shouldn't be. I live in Vaughan, which is 17 miles away from the broadcast towers in Toronto, and you would also think that I would also get the Hamilton TV channels as well from this flat panel antenna, which is 47 miles away from Vaughan, which is both CHCH and YesTV, right? Wrong. I wasn't get any signal from both TV channels at all from this flat panel antenna. You would think that I would also get TV channels from Buffalo, New York as well from this flat panel antenna, right? Nope, that did not happen at all either. No signal either.Just a warning to all, flat panel indoor antennas could be junk, it depends on your area, your situation, and where you live.

Simply doesn't work. A small flat antennae captured more channels that this one. I am returning it.
