Moderno M6
I am always guilty of doing probably too much research and these have definitely lived up to their reputation. When looking at any speakers for that matter, the materials used are very important. These have woven glass fiber woofers which in my experience is the best material on the market. Many high end speakers use this along with the butyl rubber surrounds which won't deteriorate and allow great response. These have silk done tweeters as well which are always very smooth sounding and never harsh like some metal done tweeters can be. The overall construction of these is so high end that I'm shocked they cost less than $200 or even $500 for that matter. Plus the styling is very modern with curved edges and clean lines. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Big let down after the other good reviews.
Delivered in unsealed USED non-working condition. One woofer only made pops and crackling noises. Returned. Big let down after the other good reviews.

These bad boys are huge!
I wasn't prepared for the size of these speakers; they're massive. The pictures on the product page do not adequately convey this fact, which is why I've attached a photo of my own showing one mounted on the ceiling of my patio..All that said, they do sound decent for the price I paid ($70), so I'm generally pleased with the purchase and would recommend them to a friend at that price point.UPDATE:I've discovered that these speakers have a design flaw that relates to the fact that the grills are held in place by friction. When I installed them on my back patio toward the end of May (2016), the weather here in southern Utah was already fairly warm, pretty much throughout the day. And I had some difficulty mounting the grills because they seemed to just barely fit onto the front of the speaker enclosures. As difficult as they were to get into place, it never occurred to me that they could possibly come off without some effort. But now, in October, the weather is downright chilly on the typical morning. And when I went out on my patio yesterday morning, the outside temp was in the high 40s and my Moderno speaker grills were both lying on the ground. Obviously, the plastic surfaces at the front of the enclosures (to which the grills are supposed to adhere with friction) had shrunk enough in the colder weather that the grills would no longer stay in place. I consider this to be a serious design flaw and, therefore, can no longer recommend these speakers.I guess I'm going to have to drill pilot holes through the short ends of the grills and try to secure them to the enclosures with white tek screws.

pretty damn good...
For starters, good price for 2 speakers. Second, the bracket design and "interior" speaker jacks are excellent (wire ends are protected from rain). Be aware that the size of the speakers are bigger than expected.Performance--can't complain especially for the price...NOT on the level of my Bose or Polk, but pretty damn good...for "outdoor" speakers. I would buy them again

They look nice and sound great
I have the speakers in my backyard. I previously had some smaller speakers which hardly had any base. With these, they are larger and have both highs and low sound. They sound much fuller and I can raise volume much louder with clarity, but with neighbors near by, I choose to keep it in a respectable level, lol. They look nice and sound great. After a couple of months, I have found a flaw, as the temperature dropped outdoors, the cover which protects the speakers from the elements fell off. It is secure by a, what looks like a rubber band seal. I had to purchase 4 miniature screws to hold the cover in place. I hope it doesn't change the science of the speaker by adding screws to the plate, since it's cold right now, I can't listen to them.

Great sound for the price!
Packaging was excellent - no chance of these speakers getting damaged during shipping. They are bit bigger than expected but sound very good - especially for the price. Mounting brackets are a bit weak, but fill the need. Great price, great sound - would definitely order these again.

Two Stars
Poor bass reproduction. The bottom end punch just isn't there. Returned.

Awesome Sound for the Price
I am no Audiophile but i do have a good ear when it comes to speakers and these speakers really do Rock. I had purchased other outdoor speakers and they are no match when it comes to these. I was looking for some speakers where i can really enjoy them while I bbq and these fit the bill. I will say that they sound better with a nicer AV system. I tried them out with a SMLS Q5 Pro DAC and a Denon Heos Amp, the SMLS really distorted the sound while the Denon Heos Amp brought them alive. Crystal clear highs and awesome bass, the right mixture of both you cannot go wrong with this purchase. Why spend more money on other name brands?
