The drone arrived quickly easy to learn I did not have time or proper weather to fly much until the amazon return date had passed. The remote control will not charge it was a great drone for the total of about 1 1/2 hours of flight time I was able to use it..now I have a fancy paper weight

was bought as a present for a elderly person. The good, they liked it. It wasn't overly difficult for them to fly it.the bad. directions, lost in translation, book is super tiny and difficult to read.You HAVE to register the drone with the FAA BEFORE you can fly it, and well pay them 5 bucks for doing so, mark the drone(silver sharpie in my case)... and that's before you decide if you like it. So be aware, legally if you don't want the off chance of the FAA nailing you with a 25K fine, because your neighbors threw a fit you were flying in your back yard and they think you're spying on them from your side of the fence and call the cops, whom ALSO can issue you a fine in addition to having to file a mandatory report to the FAA...it could get $$$ real fast in the USA.Good, its easy enough old people can learn it...including old people that can't figure out a smartphone. Its probably wiser if you load the apps on their phone yourself.Also good, the app has a step by step how to connect the wifi, align the GPS thingy and get it ready to fly.Mostly the elderly person had fun. You do have to charge the controller AND the batteries...they seem to last 20 minutes, but close enough for 'government work' as they say. They went up about 40 feet, its not the time of year in this part of the country to play with drones, if its cold that battery goes down faster. Any light breeze, forget it, not in any drizzle or misty weather, no light snow...its for sunny or cloudy days that have a wind flutter your hair once in a great while. Would I buy it again...probably not. Least not at that price, gonna have to go down another hundred considering what it is and what you get But as a gift you can't really quibble much on the price, for myself, I'd have not paid that much. But this is the type of item the person wanted.

Do not buy!!!! I bought this for a Christmas present for my son. It worked great except the controller charging icon showed that it didn’t have a charge. I tried charging, power cycling many times but nothing changed.I returned it to amazon and was sent an opened and already played with drone that someone sent back, and guess what- the same issue. Controller icon not showing charge.So, you would think amazon would have overnight me another unopened drone, but no the Asian girl who was my cs rep. Could have cared less. Thanks amazon.This isn’t the first or second or third time amazon has really dropped the ball on customer service. REALLY considering dropping them altogether and canceling my prime membership.

Wifi will disconnect at 40 to 50 meters so that means flying blind, best wifi distance ever made with out loosing video recording no more then 200m, overall drone fly great.

Recieved used product, and one battery won't fully charge

trying for an hour to get this thing to connect to the phone to Wi-Fi and it would not connect and you have to calibrate it every time you turn it on or change the
