This battery is trash. I had to replace the battery of my Nuvicam LMT 520 because it is already fully spent; ie. even when plugged in my car's power outlet, it won't turn on. I properly replaced it with this battery. Whilst it work when plugged in my car's power outlet, it won't work when plugged in to my computer using the USB connector. The USB cannot charge the battery now. It can charge it before. This means that I cannot update the map on my device because it won't turn on connected to the laptop via the USB because this crap of a battery won't charge using the laptop's USB connection.Don't buy this battery replacement!

With the online videos and tools included I was able to bring my Garmin NuviCamLM back to life.

After using this replacement, had the exact same problems detailed in comments by Flaviano C. De Leon above. This replacement lasted about 8 months. Original Garmin battery lasted 7 years.

I replaced the battery in my unit and followed the directions to the letter. My Nuvicam is now useless, the screen remains blank and the device is now useless.

My garmin nuvicam lmthd is now 8 years old and this is its second replacement battery, it is the proper battery and the tools work as advertised. Watch the video multiple times and make sure you are not in a rush when doing this, I figured it was my second time so I took a quick look at the video and did it before I went to work meaning I was rushing. Due to this I broke off the ribbon cable connector off the board that runs over top of the battery because I forgot about the latch. It isn’t the end of the world just means the camera status light and the top button to take pictures doesn’t work anymore. But great kit! Just don’t make my mistake.

Battery arrived quickly with clear instructions (CD) on how to install. Installation was quick and battery performs as expected.
