Absolutely terrible quality, the mechanism of the handle itself is just fine, but the slot for the window handle bar cannot fit, this is my second purchase of this item, and the first one was the same i just failed to return it in time, so i decided to try give the benefit of the doubt and repurchased it. but this time i checked prior to opening. and low and behold. AGAIN it has got metal fragments that aren't properly cut off, and the shape is not properly formed to hold the square bar. so:Easy to install: 0/5, physically impossible to install without going to town and getting myself a metal file to clean out the socket and re-shape it.Value for money: 0/5 As it doesn't work, so it has no value.Sturdiness: 2/5? (but honestly, unknown, cannot tell how sturdy it is without it being fitted! The handle itself feels like it could be fairly sturdy, and the mechanism moves smoothly, just, without added expenditure, it's not possible to fit it. Genuinely disappointed that BOTH times it had this defect, once i could forgive as a production error but for both times, all 4 handles to have this error. It's definitely just poor quality control/manufacturing.Oh and to the seller. No I will not accept payment for removal of this review as many sellers offer. People deserve an honest review not just pandering reviews for partial refunds/bribery.

These handles are really excellent quality and have a clever design with a screw on packer which attaches to the spur itself with a couple of machine screws. This makes them very versatile. In my case I didn’t need to packers but the idea is very neat. They replaced two very tatty looking handles on our bedroom window which now looks smart again. My only smite gripe was that the original pack I got contained two left hand handles rather than one of each! Amazon sorted this in their normal efficient manner and a replacement pack duly arrived the next day.I have to comment on the reviewer who gave these a scathing one star review when she really needed inline type handles not cockspurs. She was clearly trying to insert the spindle from an existing handle into the rivet hole! They really do walk amongst us!

Great product for the price. Two of the holes lined up perfectly so it was an easy job. Handles feel and look sturdy. They do t come with a striker plate. My old handles have black ones but they can be ordered in white. I’ve ordered another 12 for the whole house. They make my wi Dow’s look much more modern.I read on one review that someone couldn’t get the spindle in and ordered another and that’s the same!! Maybe because it’s a cockspur lock so the spur goes on the outside not inside??Delivery was next day. Excellent all round.

I purchased multiple packs of these and they are brilliant handles, easy to fit and worked on 20+ year old windows that have broken or weak handles. Supplied with screws but I used originals from the handles removed. Found only 3 out of 4 holes lined up but the handles are still very secure (if you are proficient with power tools I expect another hole could have been drilled) Windows now make a tighter seal and look much smarter, which is great when you cannot afford new replacement windows.

Fits great. However the key doesn't turn in the lock and therefore cannot lock the handle? Broken lock mechanism on both handles?? This is the 2nd lot of handles sent out because the first ones I returned were chrome instead of white. Cannot be bothered with the hassle of returning these so will leave window unlocked.

Easy to install the main unit. Drilled two pilot holes and screwed it in to the aluminium frame. Issues is the spacers which just pop off as you run the lever. May work better on UPVC if the opening frame depth just happens to match the gap under the leaver but as soon as you add a spacer it doesn’t work. Relatively robust lever though. Thanks

A good quality pair of replacement handles, although they have adjustable holes for the screws to fit the old fitting, I still had to drill extra holes in the window frame to accommodate the screws. The screws are too soft to hold the handle in place they broke off so I had to drill holes and replace the screws with stainless steel ones.

Did exactly as required . For a great price replaced a really tired set of handles. Great for a quick fix when selling property. My only gripe is the single sticky cover for the screws. Of course they are fiddley but just need a design update. Perhaps more of a insert than a sticky cover , but never the less a good product.
