The GREATEST!!!
This Little Giant 6 to 9 foot plank is the GREATEST!! My house is a "Mobile Mansion", a.k.a. trailer, boxcar, or 'tin can with windows' and has a nice 8 x 24 foot screened-in porch that has a gutter. Setting up my Little Giant ladder that separates into 2 little ladders and using the plank makes it a much easier and faster job of cleaning the gutter. There is a very large, very old Maple tree next to my house and there are limbs rubbing on my roof. I did what I could to trim them with an extendable tree pruner but cannot reach the branches that need to be removed. With this plank, my Little Giant Ladder, and my new Sun Joe extendable pole chain saw, I will be able to finally get rid of the branches on that tree that scare the daylights out of my cat (and me) when they rub on the roof when it's windy!!! While it cost me about the same as my Little Giant Ladder, it is well worth the price and I am about to break my arm patting myself on the back for buying it!! It's very sturdy, easy to handle, and did I say it's well worth the price???!!! Yep, I do love it, for real!!!

The Little Giant Extended Platform is Awesome!
We have a house that has an open staircase that extends 3 floors straight up. It is impossible to paint without scaffolding. Our ceiling is over 45 feet above the ground and one has to extend over a straight down drop to paint it, change lights on the chandler, etc. I first purchased a Little Giant ladder that helped create a stable surface on the stairs, but there wasn't room to move the ladder everywhere I needed it. I bought a second Little Giant ladder and the PLANK. I can now reach every inch of the ceiling without feeling like I am seconds away from falling 40+ feet.Using wood 2x12 boards is commonly used for scaffolding, but it was totally out of the question for me. The extension capability of the Little Giant PLANK made it easy to slowly extend to where I needed it. I would put one end on the anchor ladder and then climb up the other ladder extending the plank one rung at a time. The locking cleats on the PLANK hold it in place on the anchor ladder when I pull it to extend toward the other. A wood plank that is long enough to reach would be too heavy, long and awkward to get in place by myself. The Little Giant PLANK is heavy and care must be taken when handling it. If it were to start to fall it would be virtually impossible for one person to hang onto it. Two people would be a smarter way to handle the plank, but it is doable with one person if you are like me and don't have a helper.I weigh about 200 LBS and was carrying tools, paint cans, etc. I was easily pushing 225 LBS crossing the PLANK from one side to the other numerous times with it fully extended. At no time did the PLANK flex or feel unstable. It stayed straight and felt solid the entire time. A 2x12 pressure treated board extending 12+ feet would have bowed in the middle and could flex enough to fall off of a support ladder. The PLANK did not move an inch and the locking cleats keep it form sliding off of a ladder rung. The PLANK held it shape much better than I expected, which made the investment well worth it.The purchase of two Little Giant ladders plus the plank was cheaper than renting scaffolding and paying a daily rate. I could also move it around by myself. It is a complex scaffolding setup in our house. I've done it before. It takes 3-4 people to install scaffolding and the heavy scaffold feet can damage our floor. Our staircase is also unusable when scaffolding is installed. Two extension ladders are small enough to get around and relatively easy to move.I am thinking of a million ways to use the ladders and plank now that I have them. One example is painting our bedroom. I can use the plank to extend across the bed and furniture (covered of course) without needing to move everything out when painting. That will save a ton of time. I also have a 45 ft RV that is a major pain to wash and wax. The 13 ft extension will let me easily access the side of the camper to detail it. 3-4 ladder/plank moves will enable me to cover the entire side. Waxing the RV only using ladders takes forever due to the number of times one must climb up/down and move it. A standard extension ladder that can reach the roof also has to lean against the RV. Using a plank and a couple of Little Giant ladders in the scaffolding position does not touch the camper. I will easily be able to reach the roofline without putting pressure/risk scratching the RV.The collapsing design of the Little Giant ladders and PLANK make the system easy to move around. The 8-13 foot PLANK will lay flat with the tailgate closed in an 8 foot bed pickup truck no problem. I can fit it in my Suburban with the rear seats folded down as well. The portable design makes the Little Giant ladders and planks a much more versatile system than using extension ladders and wood planks that need roof mounted racks to carry them.If you need a long reach you cannot go wrong with the Little Giant PLANK. It is well made, sturdy and feels safe when using it. No question it would stand up to daily use and last for decades.

Perfect for what I needed. Awesome 16’ platform for regular ladder steps.
Almost perfect. I do really like this extension ladder at works well with any latter including gorilla brand or little giant. The only drawback is not super easy to extend by yourself but other than that it’s great. Pretty lightweight very sturdy I’m 175 pounds and have no problem on it and I’ve had two people on it at the same time still held up great. Almost perfect. The quality of fit and material are incredible
The materials are thick, it's made as though it was machined to tight tolerances, and it is very rigid. It slides smoothly when opening and closing, it has built in locks, and it stands off the ground a bit when not in use-convenient when you just need to set it aside between steps of a task. Blown away at the quality.I will say, think very carefully about whether you need this size plank or if the shorter model could work instead. Even though it's made of high quality aluminum, it's heavy for one person.

Like my original Little Giant ladder purchase, I shouldn't have waited so long to get this.
People ask if I'm happy with my Little Giant 22' ladder and all I need to say is "It's been worth every penny." And now that I finally got the plank, I've been just as impressed. I've used it to span a bed to replace a ceiling fan, put it next to my truck to work under the hood, used it as a work table and will be using it to hang a barn door. I also plan on using it to wash/wax our vehicles once the weather is warmer. The only negative I have is that there isn't a locking mechanism to keep it from extending while not in use. Granted, it's not like it's loose and slides super easily but I just think over time it will and I really don't want to pinch a finger, smash a toe or damage a wall/floor while transporting. I was using a long bungee cord to keep it secure while in storage but that last time I went to remove it, I almost took out an eye and it did bruise my hand when the cord slipped. So, now I just make sure it's fully collapsed before moving it.
