O2COOL Deluxe Battery Powered Necklace Fan with Lanyard

Best invention so far. Five stars. I get hot flashes a lot due to menopause. This is a life saver. I wear it to work. Keeps me cool. Will not leave home without it. The color selection has 3 colors to choose from also a plus. Had a lady at work ask me if it was a body cam. Lol.

Unfortunately my work takes me into the outdoors and other hot environments in heavy clothing that doesn't breathe at all. And this is in Florida. I hoped this would provide some relief and it certainly does. The best way I can describe it is I am still not totally comfortable, but if this thing is turned off for an instant I want it back on right away. Details: Weighs about the same as a smart phone. About the thickness of a hard pack of cigarettes. Its about 3 inches wide and a little less than 5 inches long. It fits in the typical breast pocket of a man's shirt. It makes a noise that sounds like a hair dryer, but very, very quiet. Its certainly not noisy. I can't hear it unless I am in a quiet room and even then its not objectionable. Because rechargeable batteries have a slightly lower voltage than disposable ones, it runs slightly slower with rechargeables, but its a small difference. I tried it with new alkalines and some fully charged NIMH's and compared its speeds. I measured that it draws 200mA from two fresh charged NiMH batteries, so a little more than a ten hour run time on a set of batteries, although you will probably want to change them before its fully dead as it slows down. The fan has one speed. Its no powerhouse as you can imagine but it feels good. Its enough to make a little wind buffeting noise around my ears. Its actually more air than I expected something like this to produce. There is a slider switch on the side to turn it on and off. To me, the lanyard is the only place where the price really shows. Its a thin string that is slightly uncomfortable against my neck. It has no provision for adjusting it to get the fan closer to your neck, but you can accomplish this by tying the string at the top and letting the extra hang down the back of your neck. If the fan outlives the lanyard I will replace it with something more comfortable and adjustable. I think it might be possible for girls with long hair to get some caught in the fan if it hangs down over their chest. Overall fantastic product.

I bought one from Walmart a few years ago and it was rechargeable and it turned on with a push of a button and had three speeds. That one still works, but once the battery gets low, it makes a weird noise with the plastic blades. I opened this one, not knowing it runs on AA batteries and has a slide button with only one speed. While that was a surprise, I find it does cool down just as good as my old one. And the color is cool too. I got teal.

Fits perfect around your neck, love it!

This fan was fair quality. The air coming from the fan was very weak, I could barely feel it. The fan speed was terrible.

1. Use Energizer AA for best experience. 2. Welcome relief during 3 day grid-down event, oppressive heat and humidity. 3. Highly recommended, especially for elders, children, immune comromised. 4. Variable speed. Easily adjustable necklace cord. Note: Use Energizer for AA and AAA, Duracell for C and D applications for best results.

This item was purchased a by amazon.com it was broken on arrival I only got one and I'm really upset because I spent a lot of money and quality control really sucks so I don't know what to say hopefully this review will even get posted trying to return it now I only buy things that are shipped by Amazon said trust Amazon but yet when I go to try to return this it says cannot be returned all there's no battery charge will battery in it it's just to Double-A's which my husband put in and tested to make sure they were good and it didn't Work. I start buying these fans for hurricane season I didn't want to buy the one with the 2 fans on it as I thought all those just looked To gimmick I plus I don't wanna be lit up at night. So I saw these O to cool fans I thought wow I read their reviews are my trust Amazon warehouse but quality control got buy them for one they sent me 1 when it says pack of to and number to didn't turn on with fresh batteries so yeah anyway I'm tired of this time for me to take this Amazon app off my phone because I've spent way too much money on lightning deals and done just done now OK that's all I have to say about this product sorry about the misspelled words I have a spinal cord injury and I do not do any kind of proofreading my badd I guess I publisher got the ones that were brand new for $2 more but then plus paying $2 tax which I never did before never I mean never unless it was from a summit center I pay tax on the ones that are ship From China. I'm tired of returning things you know doesn't fit read reviews and now this doesn't work is like old you know I didn't even think about stuff like that then a fan to have a bag battery because it's 3 years old makes sense though I'd read reviews where people say I turned it on it didn't charge your I can get it now I get it so anyway well I guess I'll have to go find a new hobby maybe Sudoku.

Great little gadget. Ideal for hot flushes or when your the only one at home for a short time and don’t want to put the air con on. It is a little heavier than I would of liked, but the price and fast delivery still makes it 5 star.

Fabulous fan! It truly saved me during the heatwaves in Italy. You do need to use your own batteries, but they last a long time — much longer than I expected. The fan is lightweight, comfortable to wear, and surprisingly strong. Perfect for travel, outdoor events, or any hot day!

This product works great !! So convenient and well worth every dollar on a hot day with no breeze or air conditioning. Its sits perfectly blowimg air directly under the chin neck area cooling the face and neck effectively. I used it once all day and the batteries seemed to last a day no problem, which means the fan doesnt use to much power. Awesome purchase i would recommend to anyone , and would definitely buy this again. I bought 4 on this first purchase , and they made great gifts, especially for women that deal with a great deal of hot flashes during menopause.
