Got this as a second remote for our Samsung smart TV. Works great so far and love the price! No programming needed! Installed batteries and it worked right out the "the box." Buttons are a bit stiff but seem to be getting smoother with use.

Worked as soon as I pointed it at my TV, no code or linking or other hoops to jump through. I does at times struggle with volume control but so did my last remote (original) until it stop working so my fear is it may be my TV and not a remote control issue. Overall I would most likely purchase another should the remote for my other Samsung TV stop working.

My original remote stopped working, so I got this one as a replacement. It works with my Samsung TV without any setup hassle, which was a relief. However, it doesn’t have the touchpad feature that my old remote had, making it feel like a downgrade. The build quality isn’t quite the same either—it feels a bit cheaper and less responsive.That being said, it does the job. It’s not perfect, and sometimes the buttons don’t feel as smooth as I’d like, but for basic use, it’s good enough. If you just need something functional without all the extras, this works fine. Not amazing, but it gets the job done.

The original Samsung remote is an actual “universal” remote, meaning it can control multiple devices. This device cannot, it can only control the TV.Update: after less than a year of owning this (not) universal remote, it crapped out on me and doesn’t work anymore. Tried new batteries. Tried looking for a hidden switch. Nothing. Just a useless piece of plastic. Save yourself the money long term and buy the real thing.

I liked that this worked instantly out of the packaging. The only thing I have had an issue with is the volume control is stiff and hard to deal with. It DOES work though. A good deal for $14.00 for sure!! Much bette than paying $65. :)

My new Samsung series 6 TV came with the most complicated and least user friendly remote I have ever encountered. This “ universal” remote is the answer. It worked right out of the package and does everything I need it to do. It is comfortable and easy to use even in the dark. This is the remote that SHOULD have been included with the new TV. Well worth the money. Tip to other purchasers, the volume and channel buttons toggle up and down which might not be obvious at first.

Bought twice because the dog likes to eat them. The volume toggles are a bit stiff and annoying but works. Works immediately. No programming needed. Just add batteries and press buttons.

After a few months this remote is now useless and I have to purchase another. Buttons started to stick about a month after the purchase and are now almost unusable. The price was great and now I know why.
