Very nice package (+ possible fix for write-protect condition if it happens to you)
Very small, durable package. Fits nicely on a key chain. Seems faster than my other USB drives, but I never made any measurements. I've had this for 2 months and just had a problem with the drive saying it was write-protected. Tried nearly everything to fix it with no luck. Contacted Patriot for help or an RMA number. They (Patriot) asked me to make sure I had most recent USB 3.0 drivers loaded on my PC (I installed these from my PC maker's support site) and they (Patriot) also asked me to download/run a restore tool from their web site http://www.patriotmemory.com/partners/usb_restore/restore.zip. This cleared up the write-protected problem. I'm back in business. Just mentioning this problem since I think others have run into it and haven't found a solution.

Great drive for keychain
This has been a great USB 3.0 drive for my keychain! I had the Silicon Power USB 2.0 drive with key loop for quite a while, but at some point my keychain fell apart and the old drive was gone forever. Looking for a more modern replacement was actually tougher than I'd expected - there aren't a whole lot of small, waterproof, and keychainable USB 3.0 drives on the market, and I was concerned about this one and how thick it would be on the chain. It's only as thick as the USB plug, and doesn't take up too much space. It's been along with me every day for the past couple months now, which includes getting dirty, wet, whatever... and it's held up just fine.I haven't run any speed tests, but this is definitely faster than my old Silicon Power drive. Would definitely buy this one again.

Great design
I have a Windows ultrabook with a USB 3 port at the left front side of the computer, and found that it gets easily jarred or knocked in use, threatening the integrity of the USB port. I tried a SanDisk 16GB USB 2 Fit flash disk, which was a great device except that it was USB2 and was so tiny that it was hard to remove. This is not a criticism of the SanDisk device, it just was not really suitable to being often inserted and then removed from the port. This Patriot meets my needs perfectly: it's USB3; its oval-shaped space at the top facilitates removal (because of the small size, you still need to be careful doing this); and (surprisingly) it is one of the few flash disks I have seen which has a rounded top, avoiding the possibility that it will get snagged on something (in purchasing a Bluetooth adapter some time ago, I was unable to find one which did not have a rectangular top design). Finally, I like the sturdiness of the device, with its metal casing.Others can comment on the transfer speed of this device; for me, these design features make it a stand out. Finally, I would like to note that this Patriot device was recognized on both a Windows 7 Pro & 8.1 computer and the proper software installed smoothly in a moment, without a hitch. I certainly did not encounter any of the problems described by some of the other reviewers.UPDATE 10/3/2014: The flashdisk worked flawlessly, and I was very pleased with it, until about a week ago when the USB3 feature failed. I contacted Patriot, set up an RMA request, emailed them 2 times, posted a comment on my case number file 338440355 -- and have never gotten a response. Poor customer service catches up with any company.

Disappointed at first but ended up being the BEST drive I have ever owned!
***Before you put anything on this drive, go to the Patriot Memory website and install the patch!***The patch is listed in their support section. Select the flash drive you have (Lifestyle USB 3.0 32gb Tab), then click "Submit." It will show the support page that has 3 options on the top line: "Knowledge Base", "Videos", and "Latest Drivers and Downloads." Click on the "Latest Drivers and Downloads" section and it will show a "Plugins" option. Click that then download the "Patriot Tab USB Patch." Save the file, unzip it, run it, then bam -it works as it should._I was very excited to come across this 32gb, teeny-tiny flash drive with a metal case, no cap and keyringable... It's as if someone read my mind...I bought the Patriot Tab, took it to work, placed it in my computer then copied all the info from my 32gb DataTravleler 102 drive that I had been carrying in my pocket for the past 2.5 years. (I believe it is a miracle that I never lost that drive, since I never put a lanyard on it, yet carried it around for so long... ) I never worried about the data and never had a problem with that drive. I just wanted a small, fast, durable drive to put on my key ring.I turned to my co-workers to brag about how cool my new little flash drive was. I then properly ejected the drive and tossed it to my buddy. He was also immediately impressed. He put it in his computer and asked how fast the transfer rate was. He dragged a file to the drive but was stopped with the "write protected" warning... He laughed and told me I just purchased a $35 charm that would look cute on a bracelet, but that's about all...Frustrated, I researched the problem and saw I was not alone. Luckily, I found the repair patch link on the Patriotmemory.com software section -[...] . The patch ran quickly and immediately made it possible to reformat the drive. Of course it deleted all the info, so I'm very glad the drive failed in its first 5 minutes of life.Update: Dec 2014I have now used this drive for well over a year with absolutely no problems. I have it attached to my car keys and use it multiple times every day. If the Tab would have just come in working order, It would have been perfect. Instead, the Patriot Tab will have to settle with being the best memory device I have ever owned, just with a really crappy start... Lol!

Great 3.0 drive with small profile!
I used this tiny USB 3.0 drive to beef up my Chromebook's measly 16 GB of storage. This little thing lived up to my expectations and more!I didn't realize that it was possible to fit 64 GB in such a small form factor. I thought that I was going to have a flimsy piece of plastic stick a couple of inches out the side of my laptop. When I came across this product, I bought it almost instantly because it was everything that I needed. The small profile of this drive not only looks way better but does not get caught on things and damage your computers ports.I was a little skeptical at first, thinking it may be one of the thousands of products on Amazon that are too good to be true. I thought there must have been something that they skimped out on to lower the cost. I haven't found anything bad yet. I have been using it for a few months now and I think the best compliment I could give it is that most of the time, I don't even realize that it is there. This is a great product and it accomplishes the task it sets out to do. I definitely recommend it!

Excellent rugged USB memory stick
Great memory stick. I use it every day for work in at least two computers a day.Pros:-Very small, so does not stick out of the USB port too much. This means that it doesn't put too much force on the port if it's yanked. I have the memory stick on my key ring and it hasn't managed to damage a USB port yet.-Metal construction means it's virtually unbreakable. I lost a much loved San Disk stick as it was forced sideways whilst in a USB port, snapping the memory chip in half in the process.-Very reliable; my previous Patriot stick lasted over a year of being stuck in at least two computers a day. In the end a few computers with worn USB ports got a bit erratic in recognising it, but it was still reliable in my computer at home and is now living in semi retirement.Cons:The metal case conducts heat from my laptop's processor/fan. Despite other reviews it only gets hot if it's in the USB port next to my laptop's processor - the ones on the other side, and in desktops, leave it cool. Despite this, it runs reliably where it's put.
