Bought two of these... one to keep in our kitchen so my wife and I could reach things on the upper shelves and one for the bathroom so my son can wash his hands and brush his teeth. One of them broke under my weight (~150 pounds) and the other broke under my son's weight (~30 pounds). I didn't see any max weight information in the description. Even if it couldn't support me, I would expect it to support my son's weight.

Grandaughters use stool all the time. Well built.
