These are great for just a out any medical tape, gauze, Ace band cutting need. They've maintained their finish and sharpness after many uses and cleanings.

Cuts bandages and duct tape. Good for larger hands. We have been using them on animals with bandages we have to cover with duct tape to keep dogs and cats from chewing on them. They cut right through and still cut fine tape and gauze.

I've used it about 3 times, worked okay 1 time on a relatively thin bandage. Any form of wet to dry or multiple layer thick bandage/splint is virtually impossible to cut with this product whereas every other set of bandage scissors/shears I've seen in the hospital make quick work of the same bandages. DO NOT BUY THIS. I have to buy a new pair after looking embarrassed on numerous occasions in the hospital with this POS product.

I keep these in my horse First Aid kit, and they are my go to scissors. Always needed. Now I have an extra pair for at home as well. Well made, sturdy, and work well.
