Sizing was accurate for this order (I'm 5'2" and 190 lbs.) and after reading other reviews, I was a bit worried, so I measured carefully several times -- I didn't match the listed measurements perfectly - before I ordered an XL. Elastics at wrists and waist are not uncomfortably tight, hood is somewhat adjustable and roomy enough to cover my mass of thick dreadlocks. It is lightweight overall, but while using it for activities (I distance walk daily and hike often), I am definitely warm enough in 50-degree weather. I have space to wear a tank or tee underneath, so would feel okay in an approx 35-70 degree range. I haven't checked it for its water repellent ability other than a light sprinkle, but it was fine for that; its a "wind-breaker," and it does that without issue. 2 out of 3 of my zippers had minor issues -- one's stitching is a little bit askew and the main front zipper feels somewhat flimsy; I think it will be okay if I'm conscientious about being careful as I near the bottom-end position (almost advisable to pull it over my head rather than stress the zip too often). There were several loose threads that needed to be snipped before it was ready to wear. The stuff pouch is a nice bonus feature for backpacking or glove compartment. Overall, I find this excellent for short-term or daily light use. I ordered the rose red shade -- its a deep pink and very bright (absolutely ped safe in the forest or in traffic) with a pale white print that is nearly invisible. The return restrictions printed on its package are quite extensive, but I would order a second one.

First and foremost, if you are petite do not order up!! In women's sizes I normally wear an x-small or small, so I ordered a small to be on the safe side after reading other reviews. The product appears to be more form fitting in the picture, however, the small was quite baggy on me.Otherwise, the jacket is extremely compact and lightweight. I'm traveling to Thailand during the rainy season (also humid - lightweight is perfect), so I need something that will not take up too much space in my luggage and keep me dry. I actually ran my arm under water for a few seconds to see how it would hold up, and within 20 seconds or so I could feel moisture on my arm. Initially disappointed, I planned to return. Not more than 2 minutes later, the jacket was as dry as a bone. So I imagine in a downpour, you may still get soaked. But in light to moderate rain and in small bursts, I am hoping it will keep me from getting completely wet.I should also mention that there are two large pockets inside the jacket. No zipper on the pockets, but a nice addition. There are also two elastic draw-bands at the waist and hood. The elastic at the cuffs is also beneficial.

My zipper broke. As if I wasn't feeling bloated enough already, I zipped up the jacket and the further up I pulled the zipper, the faster the zipper teeth came unhooked. So, I attempted to pull the zipper down so I could take the jacket off. At this point, the jacket started mocking me. "What? You think you can just try to unzip me after I deemed you unworthy to wear me?" it sneered. I struggled to pull the zipper down but the teeth became offset because one side of the jacket moved more easily through the zipper than the other. Once that happened, there was no moving the zipper. And because the jacket runs a little small, I couldn't just pull it over my head to take it off.I still had hopes of salvaging the zipper and by then, the jacket itself. The jacket, however, had other ideas. After five minutes of struggling to move the zipper back down to its starting position, I gave up and attempted to just pull the teeth out of the zipper and take the jacket off that way. I pulled and pulled and pulled and the zipper held fast. Finally, my inner Hulk came out and in one quick burst of super human strength, I ripped the teeth out of the zipper and was finally freed from the iron grip of my LANBAOSI Women's Super Lightweight Jacket UV Protect+Quick Dry Windproof Skin Coat.Pros: It really does block the wind, the color is nice (I got the grey one), and the hood is detachable.Cons: It's like the jacket form of "The Mask." You put it on and it transforms you into a maniac.

The jacket is very light weight, feels like just one layer of material and the pockets on the inside/outside of the jacket. I bought it to keep in my backpack so that if it were to rain on campus I could easily shield myself. It serves it purpose. I followed what people said about going up a size or two. Im usually a large/xlarge in womens shirts so I got a xxlarge and it fits exactly the way i wanted it too. Im also a bit on the shorter side (5'2) and the jacket stops around where my hands land if at my sides, maybe a bit lower and has a nice amount of room/bagginess that I wanted. I think it looks more expensive than it is when walking around but i could definitely see it ripping easily if it snags on something sharp enough to puncture/with enough force. The zippers all feel nice, cant complain. The pockets are pretty deep which I enjoy. The hood is an inch or so too small, just touched the forehead, wish it was longer/roomier but I dont really use it anyway and its tucks back into the little collar nicely. It also tucks back into the little pouch very easily.In a downpour I dont think it would keep you fully dry but for my purposes of trying to avoid showing up to classes soaking wet, it works.

Very nice seller, but the jacket is not worth the money. Fabric is thin and flimsy. Zipper is poor quality and mine arrived with a broken zipper. Very disappointing

Aunque lo solicité indicando mi talla, me mandaron la talla 3XL! Sobra decir que está gigante pero ya no me da tiempo de devolverlo, mi esposo por ejemplo es XL y le queda bien el 2XL para usarlo como chamarra o esta que es 3XL le queda bien sobre una chamarra o sudadera que él traiga debajo. Y me gustó la tela tan ligera y algo impermeable mientras sea una lluvia ligera o solo llovizna o cómo rompe vientos te va a encantar pero no es un impermeable en forma. Se dobla y se guarda en una bolsita que incluye para poder llevarla sin que ocupe mucho espacio.
