BEAR Grizzly 852 52° 181mm Gen 5 Longboard Skateboard Trucks (Black, Set of 2)

Basically for my longboard setup i have an Arbor Axis deck w/ gullwing chargers, yellow orangatang 4prez's w/ abec 9's. I decided to get these trucks so that i could put my gullwings back on my older deck and improve this deck. When i first put them on my new deck i noticed that the wheel base was wider and that yellow wheels w/ black trucks make a sick two-tone combo. one thing i also found out is that the hanger (the part that holds the wheels) is designed so the if you flip the rear hanger then i changes the angle by 5 degrees making it slightly less responsive for bombing hills which in my opinion is genius because i occasionally bomb hills and is great because i get terrible wobbles.when i first rode this i noticed that they are extremely difference from my gullwings because of the way bushings work w/ the trucks. i like how its kinda tight if your trying to shift over a little bit, but when you need to turn there is alot less resistance so cruising straight is stable and turning is easier which is amazing. In addition to the turning difference i noticed that because of the wider base and tight turning, sliding is alot easier because it enables it to overcome friction a ton easier. also where the hanger pivots on the base is already lubed for super smooth turningOverall id say these are an enormous step up from gullwing chargers because they are designed so much better w/ higher quality and features than any other truck. Lastly if you get these, keep in mind that you should get bones speed cream, or another bearing lube and lube up where the wheels sit and where the hanger get wider because they are bone dry when you get them and will make the bearings a little scratchy, so by doing this, they spin smoothly.

He said these trucks were excellent for carving and cruising, as turn initiation was very easy, and a little bit of leaning could go a long way. Also, the double barrel bushings that came with the trucks were a little soft but overall fine for him (however, he has a drop-through board so he could not tell if wheel bite would occur on other board types). He recommends these trucks to anyone who wants to take their starter board to the next level (without breaking the bank) or who wants to carve, cruise, and pump. Would definitely buy again!"

I had Paris Trucks V2 180mm 50 Degree on my LandYachtz Drop Board. After many sessions I felt that a little more angle might give me more carving/pumping action. So after some research and asking other experienced riders the truck that was most suggested was the Bear Grizzly 852. This truck has 52 degree angle. I installed them as soon as they arrived. Took the LandYacht 35 Drop Eagle out for a session. After some adjusting of the bushings it felt amazing! I recommend these trucks for those that want a little more carving and pumping than the also impressive Paris Trucks V2s.

I was hesitant on upgrading my trucks from the stock ones I had on my basic board, but I am glad that I did. I couldn't believe how much of a difference there was. Very smooth and the fact that I can flip them around for cruising or downhill is just fantastic. A flip of the truck can be done in a matter of minutes.Trucks came with speed rings and bolts and was happy to find that the pivot cup was pre greased, so no squeaky trucks :) I have had some rattle sounds from the trucks while riding but nothing to substantial. I would recommend these to anyone looking for trucks.

I purchased these Bear Grizzly trucks about a year ago and set them to use on my Landyachtz Tomahawk 38' longboard and I love them. I've flipped the hangers and unflipped them several times and I think that the unflipped, original configuration is the best. They are very responsive (I use the original bushings). I've used a few different Independent trucks and also the Polar Bear trucks and I have to say they are my favorite, with the Polar Bears coming in at a close second.

I've spent a year looking at these trucks, and after purchasing them I immediately regretted not getting them with my complete. What got me to even think of these trucks was the ability to flip the hanger. You get amazing carving from the default state, but once you flip it over you get sick stability when going downhill.Would recommend to anyone that's looking for versatile trucks on their boards. But only if you're looking to change styles easily, if you just want either one: carving or a stable downhill ride, just swap out the bushings, like my buddy says.Really this set is for anyone that doesn't want the hassle of changing bushings for different situations.

These truck are awesome, best I've ever owned! I Highly recommend these! They came fast and they also came with speed rings. Buyer beware, these trucks do not come with spacers or hardware. I was not expecting the, to have them I am just letting the people who are wonder know before they make the decision to buy these. The bushings arent the best but i was able to deal with them for some time. They do get a bit squeaky after a while, but what trucks don't? Thats all!

I do not regret at all by buying these pair of trucks. They are extremely well made and I bought them with the idea of using them for pumping and do some hard and deep turns while using my longboard to fool around. MAN! .. These trucks can really turn! also I really liked they came in black. Grizzly's are fantastic and the good thing about this baby is that if you don't want to turn.. you can always switch them over and make them more stable. Perfect 10 for this. Amazon always the best for doing transactions as well.

I bought this for my son's birthday along with the shark wheels and super reds bearings. He loves it, he says that they turn really good and is 10x better then his previous trucks. I would definately recommend this product from Bear. Worth the price!!
