Bose Acoustimass 3 Series V Stereo Speaker System (White)

Very happy with this product. Great additional sound for a tv, movies, and music. It is not a house filling overpowering system, but instead a high quality, very compact system that should be plenty (with a decent Reciever) for all of your entertainment, stereo needs without the bulk of traditional shelf speakers or wires of a true surround sound. I was almost going to buy a sound bar, but this has been the best of both worlds. Enhanced TV sound when I want it and the ability to also play my idevice or CDs through my Reciever as well.

I've been a Bose customer for years. I have owned several Bose products, and still own several Bose products today. My hobby has been stereo components for 40 years, and every Bose product I have owned out performed it original specs. The Bose Acoutimass 3 series V speaker is no exception. For a small system, the sound is excellent! Don't let the size fool you, This little speaker system can deliver awesome sound!!!

I am using the Acoustimass 3 Series V with a Sherwood RX4508 stereo receiver to listen to an extensive MP3 catalog via Bluetooth, enhance sound from my television, and listen to my vinyl collection. I have the speakers wall mounted 6' apart on either side of the television in a 14'X25' living room. The sound is very natural and detailed--you can hear fingers across the frets on a guitar, backing vocals and secondary instruments that are not apparent with lesser systems. I am able to push the volume to room filling levels with almost no audible distortion. There is a gap in the mid range frequencies, and the bass from the Acoustimass module is not overwhelming, but if you can accept that you will not find speakers for $200 that sound any better. As with all Acoustimass systems, it is tricky to get a clean installation as the the Acoustimass module connects to the receiver and the cube speakers connect to the module--this leaves a train of 4 wires running to the "discrete" location of the Acoustimass module.

I love my speakers. It sounds great! The price is great for the new set of speakers.

I wish the sound was a bit warmer coming from these. Unfortunately, the sound is very tinny. I suppose that for very small and discreet speakers they are adequate for enhancing television sound but they are definitely not room filling speakers. I'm torn on whether or not I will keep them.

Excellent sound system for my sailing yacht! Hooked it up with a pioneer car deck. Even without an amp, excellent sound and bass.

I purchased the set as an add on to my Sony TV surround sound system. I expected the satellite speakers to give rear surround sound and the so called sub-woofer to provide goos bass. I was totally disappointed. There is no sub-woofer. I think the AC3 module is basically a pass through. On many occasions, i had to stick my ear to it to listen and check if anything was coming out of the damn thing. I talked with Bose who told me a bunch of garbage about speaker wire impedance, then blamed my receiver, before finally telling me that they are not good for surround sound. They even refused to replace them. They now have a home in my closet.

Nice starter kit for a budding Bose enthusiast. However, sound quality is not on par with the rest of the Bose lineup of speaker systems. I've own several different Bose kits, and this is by far the least powerful sounding. It was connected to a powerful receiver, so that wasn't an issue. The bass is lacking, and because the main speakers are so small (but they are well built and classy looking), the sound comes off as hollow and tinny. If you are looking for a starter set of speakers, I can't recommend this unit- I would strongly recommend the cheapest Bose Soundbar/Subwoofer combo for a home theater setup. Have one and that is infinitely better than the Acoustimass 3 system with deep bass, and great main speakers. OR just get a better pair of floor speakers. I recommend the Dayton Audio T652. They are way cheaper and sound 10x better than the Acoustimass 3. Bass is much deeper, as is the warm treble. As a bonus, with the money saved, you can get an inexpensive subwoofer to pair with them. Just my opinions!

Yo no me explico cómo se ponen a comprar algo sin antes leer la descripción del mismo, en fin. Excente calidad de sonido y están a un súper precio y de la calidad queda poco que decir son Bosé, tenía un cerebro Kenwood sin usar y no me quería deshacer de el, así que vi estás bocinas y quedaron excelente muy recomendables!!

Matériel idéal si la place vous est compté ... Pour ma part, c' est résolu !Avec un bon Ampli. (~100 W) et de bonnes sources comme TV HD, Tuner radio Hifi FM et internet , PC ( etc ) ; Donnez de la voix (***) à votre ensemble multimédia !*** : Très Grosse voix car c'est du BOSE quand même !Livraison dans les temps et sans surprises .

Got these speakers two months ago they sound great and perfect for a mid sized room. The bass from the sub thumps just the right amount of bass. The satellites are amazing. Great quality for the prize.

Fidèle à la qualité Bose. Un inconvénient : le coût des fixations murales Bose associées qui ne sont même pas orientables. Heureusement, en étant un tantinet bricoleur, deux équerres métalliques font très bien l'affaire.
