I have used a similar key ring for a great number of years. I received the Manta Ring and noticed that it was much more flexible than the other. I immediately locked it tried to break it (The other one did break one time) I couldn't budge it. I think I have a winner, it flexes nicely in my pocket and as an extra, the clasp is thin enough to allow me to load the keys from each end. Definitely recommend this product. PS: You might want to check and tighten it from time to time as it can come unscrewed. PPS: THEY CAME APART IN MY POCKET - I PUT A DROP OF NAIL POLISH ON THE THREADS AND SO FAR THEY ARE STAYING TOGETHER.

These seemed great at first, but after about a year, the plastic coating began to crack, now at least 30% of it has come off. the screw mechanism also works itself loose, and more than once I have had all of my keys fall in a mess when pulling them out of my pocket. Luckily so far I haven't lost any, but its seriously inconvenient to be crouching down searching for keys and accessories in a dense crowd of moving people. I have considered using loc-tite, but then I wouldn't be able to add or remove things.

I was tired of my keys being restricted to a hard metal ring and poking me in the leg when in my pocket. This ring does flex so it does compensate for some keys sticking out however don’t except it to be flexible like a string since the cable is a little stiff. The plastic coating has moved a little since I have twisted hard to ensure it does not come unscrewed. So far it hasn’t. It would be better if the male end protrude a little when fully screwed in to grip it with pliers for a little extra torque. I have read some people recommend locktite to prevent it from coming unscrewed but I add and remove items occasionally so not really an option for me since there is no place to grip it with pliers. Over all I would say it’s OK but could be better if you could tighten it and loosen it with pliers.

I like these very much. It's so easy to get your keys on and off. I just wish there was a way to keep it locked. Once in a while it starts to slightly unscrew, but not a lot. Otherwise a great keyring for the price.

Love theses does the job for all my keys, easy to remove and add keys at will, but will recommend using to as I do

Bought these to go with some flash drives that I had purchased. It turns out that they are just perfect for the job. I liked them so much in fact that I bought them again with some other ideas for them in mind. The versatility of these is only limited by your imagination.

I never leave reviews but this thing sucks. It comes unscrewed all the time, dumping my keys everywhere. It’ll unscrew in my pocket, in my hand when I’m unlocking something, even just when I’m driving. Also all the black covering chipped off within a few weeks. The metal strands are very durable but that doesn’t matter if it won’t stay closed.

MantaRings are everything they say they are - I've had them about a month, and had no problem with them opening unexpectedly (as some of the ratings suggested they might). The only "negative" is the diameter of the coupler. I had to drill out two keys to accommodate it, and one of them broke in the drilling. Otherwise, they're well worth the price, and extremely versatile for a number of uses!
