Not bad …
I bought a return in perfect condition for $ 143 and it was set up by last owner.( thanks )I installed a brass nut and heavy strings now plays and sounds great.I’m not a professional player so the tuners, pickups, pots, saddles are fine with me.It is made in China with 11 screws on pick guard.

Great Guitar if you wanna mod
I bought this when on sale ($179) and wasn't expecting much. Guitar was playable out of the box but needed a lot of work. I wasn't expecting fit and finish at this price point but did spend about 2 hours of my time polishing frets, rounding fret board and fret ends, adjusting Truss rod and shielding the pickup cavity. Once this setup was completed it actually played like a $300/$350 guitar would and was pleasantly happy with it. I would like to pick up another one to do a pickup swap. The stock pickups are on the hotter side. Hard to achieve glassy cleans on a tube amp without pushing the pre-amp tubes into overdrive. For hard rock they sound fine. Would like to put a set of Alnico II in this guitar. Also the volume and tone pots are not the best. Totally fine for a beginner or someone who plays with the knobs at 100% all the time. I'm use to my Strats where I can dial back volume to clean up or roll tone off to take away some sharpness. These pots seem to do nothing until you get about 50% down then you can pull a little hair off the amp.All in all... for the price you can't go wrong! like I said I would buy again just realize you are getting entry level componets so with some love and some part swaps you can have yourself a pretty damn good Git-Fiddle ;-)

I like it
First, this was "supposed to" arrive 3 weeks later than it actually did (based on the initial Amazon date). This was out of stock and arrived 3 days after it was restocked. Kudos to the seller. Now to the instrument. The hardware works, pups sound good after a quick test.I need to set it up, but first, I'm going to let it acclimate to our humid air.The frets feel fine. Hopefully, they're level.

GREAT GUITAR FOR THE PRICE
So for all you children of the 90's the is the best guitar to channel your inner grunge without breaking the bank. The guitar is very cool looking, and sounds pretty good. the only negative i would give this guitar would be keeping it in tune. I haven't changed the factory strings yet, so hopefully that will change with new strings. Asides that this guitar is SUPER FUN to play. Light weight constructed well and the neck is smooth maker for great transition on your power chords. All in all can't beat this!

Great value for a beginner
I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It looks and feels beautiful. It took a bit of tweaking from someone who knows guitars (not me) but from there it has proven to be a really great value and perfect instrument to keep her excited about learning. I added a small Fender amp and cable and was a great learning package for her.

I love the mustang mostly because I have smaller hands and it just has a great tone

Muy ligera, cómoda y de buen sonido
Ligera, cómoda y de buen sonido, lo único malo es que a los trastes les falta una buena lijada y pulida, aparte de eso es un excelente producto

Get some lemon oil on that fretboard and you’ll be laughing
Excellent quality guitar at an entry level price. The ideal project guitar for modding. Genuinely surprised at how well the action and intonation was setup out the box. It’s very light in weight, and comfortable to play. The gauge 9s that are on it compliment the neck profile and feel just right - this is coming from a guy who’s played on nothing but 10s for 15 years. When the manufacturer gets the bits that you need so right, the guitar becomes a blank canvas, which is exciting. The colour (sonic grey) beautifully offsets the maple body, the laurel fingerboard and white pick guard with black pickups. Sometimes less is more, and this guitar certainly offers so much more with a lot less. To put this in perspective, I enjoy playing this a lot more than a 2015 Gibson LPJ - I don’t know if that says more about this guitar or more about Gibson. Maybe it says something about me.

Comfortable profile, decent setup out of box
What's not to like about a $200 new guitar? Needs a little work smoothing out the frets from oxidization etc. but sounds good without new strings, though that is next. It was the cheapest Mustang on offer, and fits my smaller, older hands better than a Strat. Presently playing a Squier Strat mini to stretch my fingers, and reacquaint myself with the instrument. I'm sure I'll be able to adapt easier from the 22.75" scale length of the mini to the 24" length of the Mustang; than the 25.5" length of a Stratocaster. Bought a Valeton GP-100 processor and a couple of cables, and am now plugged into my Mac mini. Pretty cheap entertainment with benefits.PS. Replaced the factory white pick guard, with vintage tortoise shell. Like it better.
