eKit Charge and Sync Dock with Audio Out to Connect to Hi-Fi for iPad 1/2/3 - Black

I have stopped using this dock after finding my iPad would spend all night in the dock but not gain any charge. Turns out there's a bit of a gap between the bottom of the iPad and the dock, so the tablet can slip slightly to one side or the other. Its only a matter of a couple of millimeters, but for my iPad clearly that's enough to make it stop charging when it rolls to one side or the other. The dock is also pretty light, so when taking your iPad out of it, the whole thing lifts up with the iPad, which is annoying and means its a two handed job to take the thing out of the dock. Considering buying a more expensive (and heavier) one, but frankly I think I can live without a dock to be honest.

This does exactly what I wanted - holds my iPad upright so that (in theory at least) I always know where it is and it is always charged when I need to use it. Also allows it to be used as a photo frame whilst charging. (OK so in reality the iPad is often still found behind a cushion with 5% charge left, but that is not the fault of the stand...!)It is small enough to be unobtrusive when empty but still holds the pad as securely as any of my speaker units hold my iPod. Only occasionally does it need a slight adjustment to charge if I put the pad in slightly wonkily. I've had it forIt does need a separate charger cable though - I suspected that was the case but certainly when I bought it the description was slightly ambiguous.I've had it for about 3 months now and the build quality seems good.

This iPad dock is a great piece of kit and works well.Initially as some reported here I also started to get error messages that my iPad was not compatible and it would not charge, particularly if the iPad was less than 50% (very strange). However, I changed the Jazooli USB charging cable (it did not come with the dock) for an original Apple cable and never had the problem again. So the problem was not the dock but the Jazooli cable.

This has been a lifesaver, to give me a charge next to the bed (and means I can use my nightstand app). For the price, it's an excellent buy. I struggle sometimes to dock it when it's dark but other than that, it's perfect.

Simple but good product, it feels solid and has good weight to it meaning it doesn't move around the table and easily supports the weigh of the ipad.

Great value for money charging dock for my ipad 2.Does exactly what it is meant to do with out any issues.Ipad sits on it very nicely indeed and now displays a slide show while it charges. Marvelous.

I do not use this product as much but it does what it should do when I need it

Other reviews have criticised this product, however I have found it heavy enough to support the iPad and makes a good connection with the device, charging properly. Haven't yet tried the audio out. Good value and good quality product.
