I have a bean to cup machine that is I'd say one of the better mid range jobs and genuinely makes a fantastic cup of coffee. But, it's only as good as the beans used and poor quality ones seem to be highlighted even more than with my previous less good machine.But, lets be honest here, beans in the supermarket are damned expensive for not much, and bean to cup machines go through a remarkable amount of beans very quickly I've found. As such I look around and try something new - and cheaper of course...So here we have a bloody great big bag of pure Arabica coffee beans that simply knock flavour out of the park. Really. The roast is perfect at a good mid range strength leaving the body and flavour but ensuring there isn't any harshness that can sometimes creep in with really strong roasts.if I was to compare I'd say these were better by far than beans bought in 250g bags from the supermarket with big name branding on the packages. And given the price you are more than 50% better off having bought these.Honestly, it's a no brainer. These are simply excellent daily coffee beans at a price that defies their quality.

Fresh coffee beans for my espresso makes great coffee

Everyone wants something different with their coffee, I like mine to look like a guiness and taste like its from Italy. This does!

I ordered this coffee to use with my sage barista express, it made outstanding coffee.. It was roasted only a week before delivery and stayed fresh enough for good espresso for over a month once it was folded over with a clipI would definitely recommend this to people who want luxury fresh coffee with the convenience of quick delivery whilst still being affordable enough to have many cups a day

The beans are clearly fresh but they are all different shapes, sizes and colours. Some of the beans look burnt and the taste is very bitter too. The bag is tightly sealed which means it is hard to open and there's no easy way of keeping the bag sealed once opened so I have had to use a tupperware box. It is excellent value for money and I would recommend it for somewhere like an office where you just want a caffeine kick and aren't bothered about the taste but it's far too dark roasted for me to enjoy. I have been giving it out to people in my apartment building so it doesn't go to waste.

After the many good reviews that I read I was quite surprised that upon on a medium grind and then pouring it through my Hario V60, that it came out very weak, very light in colour and lacking in flavour, even when using quite high strength brew of 12g to 200ml . The bag I received has a best before date sticker and a batch number. I returned it immediately. The batch number is 350 and is followed by 03/01/2020 which is evidently the roasting date. I ordered it on 15/1/20 and it arrived 16/1/20. The QR code doesn't work. This roaster seems to do well with the rest of its coffee. I'm assuming this was bad batch, given the other positive reviews. . The other bag I ordered was the Colombia Medellin single origin and it was roasted on 16/12/19 so dispatched one month after roasting date. I think this is the risk with Amazon Prime Fulfillment Process as the bag sits in the delivery warehouse until it is ready to go. I am happy with this batch and I'll persevere trying some of the other single origin coffees they have. The price point is excellent, especially considering the margin Amazon takes.

Great coffee for my Aeropress.I tried this coffee with both my auto Delonghi autentica and my aeropress. I found it quite pleasant when brewing with the aeropress but not so much when using the automatic for espressos. I usually buy coffee in the price region of £10 and I have tried lots of different brands over the years. One thing that I noticed straightaway is the quality of the beans when grinding them. I use a manual grinder for the aeropress and what I noticed when grinding relatively more expensive coffee including this one, is this light brown flakes which might be related to the roasting process or the origin, don't really known. And the aroma is also usually long lasting.Overall I would recommend this dorky sounding coffee blend if you like brewing coffee with an aeropress, filter, french press. If you prefer to use automatics to extract a good espresso, I would probably try their classic number 1 espresso blend.

Habe die Bohnen bei Freunden probiert, die die gleiche Kaffeemaschine nutzen, wie ich und ich finde den Geschmack super. Eine leckere und schön starke Bohne, die in meinem Siebträger einen sehr leckeren Espresso zaubert. Geschmack ist sicher abhängig vom Mahlgrad und der genutzten Kaffeemaschine, aber für mich alles genau richtig. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Geschmacklich sehr aromatisch und stark, für Milchmischgetränke sehr gut geeignet. War auch eine relativ frische Röstung, ca. 17 Tage her. Die Bohnen hatten eine schöne und dunkle Röstung. Geschmacklich leider nicht ganz mein Ding, aber das muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, von allen anderen Punkten her ein qualitativ hochwertiger Espresso. Gute Verpackung, nach dem Öffnen der Schutzfolie um die Verpackung kam bereits ein starke Espressogeruch, die Intensität beim Öffnen der eigentlichen Verpackung hat mich schon umgehauen und Lust auf mehr gemacht. Schade dass er nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen hat. Trotzdem eine Kaufempfehlung, einfach mal ausprobieren und vielleicht ist er ja was für andere. Ich werde den Espresso bestimmt mal wieder bestellen, einfach um mal den Vergleich zu haben.
