Marusenko Circular Level 2

I purchased this for my 10 year old grandson for Christmas and he is a Rubik's cube expert. I swear he has them all, and most are quite challenging. I can't even get the original Rubik's cube done, yet he has mastered that one in under 2 minutes (of course he's brilliant, but that's a proud grandma talking!) I can't wait to see what this kid does when he grows up - he loves puzzles that challenge him.

This particular Marusenko design (level 2) isn't that interesting to manipulate. If you can do a 2x2 (or 4x4) Rubik's Cube, the puzzling part isn't that difficult. The patterns it can make are fairly limited. The other levels of Marusenko look like they make more interesting patterns.

I love these puzzle balls because you can solve them intuitively without any help unlike the Rubik's cube.

Great for young and old. Even my kids who cannot solve them, love spinning the colors around.

Dust collector for my 13 year old and 14 year old teens. No interest at all.

If your kid can do a Rubik's cube, he or she will solve this in about 5 minutes. I should have started with a higher-level model.
