The "Breath of Fire" deck is all about dealing damage. Direct-damage spells like Lightning Bolt, Chandra's Outrage, Lava Axe, and Fireball form the backbone of your deck. You shouldn't be afraid to use Lightning Bolts on creatures early in the game, but always be aware of how close your opponent is to 0 life. Use your blue spells to keep the damage comingPreordain and Foresee will find you more damage spells, and Call to Mind gives you another chance to use one that you've already cast.

First, I should state that I decided to keep this product without having to deal with the hassle of sending it back.I received this item yesterday. It was delivered on time, which I have no complaint about. I have no complaint about the cards themselves, either.My complaint is that when I opened the shipping box (more than one item was in it, mind you) that these cards were shipped in, I realized that the card box itself was opened. So I pulled out the plastic sleeve that holds the cards (and the 'how to play' inserts and what have you), I realized that even though the box said that it came with ( 1) booster pack, the booster wasn't there. After further examination, I realized that the top of the box had been taped back shut, however, the tape had broken (I'm guessing) during transit.After seeing this, I looked back at my order log to confirm that I did purchase the "new" and not the "used". The product description clearly says "new".Now don't get me wrong. I love MTG and I love collecting the cards, myself. I decided to add these to my collection and just go to Walmart to ensure that I *do* get an unopened, new deck for my niece.So, yeah. 15 card booster isn't something to cry over.I'm complaining about the fact that I purchased a new item and received a used item. I've skimmed through all the manufacturer reviews, and they ALL seem to be top notch. I'm not exactly sure as to how this happened. My first step was to review the item, then review the carrier (Cosmic-King llc).Just a heads up.

LOTS OF FUN FOR KIDS THAT LIKES IT
I have three nephews and they just love playing this game. They spend hours playing it. They enjoy comparing the powers of each card. When I gave this gift to them they jumped in my neck to give me a nice hug. and their ages are 6,9 and 13. If they have said it is fun,you can't miss as a gift. attention: you must know in advance what cards they already have and the most wanted ones (its a personal choice according to card qualities or features one feels is more important to be present).

Great starter deck
Standard beginner deck for one of the best card games ever. good deck to start with focusing mostly on damage, and less on magic and defense. fun deck to play, came in great condition, no complaints. love the game, good deck. in the deck, as i recently have come to discover, every card is bent diagonally, not creased but as if they have been warped or something. Disappointing because otherwise perfectly packaged and in great condition.

Excellent deck, very satisfying
Breath of Fire is an amazing combination of Red/Blue cards and makes for some very fun gameplay. The foil card that comes with it, Ancient Hellkite, has proven to be one of my favorite cards to use.
