A way to secure the side door.
As you know it does not come with instructions and I did not want to remove a screw to put the pins on. Here is what I did. My hinges have a lock clip built in but it's a very small. So how I did it was I removed one hinge at a time and I started by smashing the pin flat then I folded the hinge close and i used the old hole as a guide then using a 3/8 drill bit to mark the other side. After it was marked I used a larger drill bit to drill a hole. I then installed the hinge and drill a hole in the door for the pin to go into.

Great Value and Safety for the Money
Cheap protection for an outward-facing hinge. Simple to install, as per the video and I tested the theory of the bolts acting like a deadbolt. They act just like a deadbolt. can't get the door off by removing the hinges. Awesome product for its purpose! My hat is off to AIEVE Door Hinges Security Screws. A product that delivered performance as promised. For a four Hing door 15 minutes maximum to install.

Not high quality, screw strips easily.
I don't have much faith in it as a security pin if the metal is so soft it strips with this much ease. Not easy to install and is too bulky for interior/exterior doors. This looks like it was made for metal doors as the pins are HUGE to the point where they don't make much sense for home use. I'd recommend trying other available products first and reviewing the sizes if available. I am about to leave town soon so don't have time to order and install another product or I would have returned these.

Marginal quality, design flaws, and additional installation issues
I liked the premise of these security screws and thought that installation would be a breeze. I was successful in installing them to function as I had hoped....but it was more challenging and difficult than I anticipated. My door is solid oak, so when I removed existing hinge screws from the door, I drilled those holes slightly larger to allow the security screws to go in without (I assumed) much difficulty. The metal in the security screws is actually not very "hardened," and the small Phillips-head slots on the heads of the security screws was not up to the task. The Phillips slots stripped out immediately. I had to enlarge the holes in the door further to almost the diameter of the security screw threads themselves and then had to use vice-grip pliers to tighten the screws because the Phillips slots were stripped on each of the three security screws I used. Also, due to the "swing arc" of the projecting heads of the security screws after installation, the heads hit the opposite hinge plate well "outside" the opposing holes into which they were supposed to fit when the door is closed. Ultimately, I had to drill the "receiving" screw holes in the hinges out to 1/2 inch....more than twice the diameter of the existing hinge plate holes....in order to permit the door to close. See attached photos. In my opinion, these security screws could be much improved by:--Making the projecting part that engages the door-frame hinge plate shorter and more tapered,--Making the screws out of harder metal,--Employing a Torx or square hole for driving the screws into place. After installation, I concluded that I could have more easily simply used heavy wood screws or lag screws and then cut of their heads for the same purpose of these security screws. The opposing holes would not have had to be so large, and the installation would not have been so frustrating.

Hard to install on standard door.
These do not fit on a standard door. Too thick and too long. Great idea, but won’t work. This is my opinion, please take it for what it’s worth. I would like to see a photo of a successful installation.

Excellent product, just follow these instructions below…
Exactly what I needed!See the pics! You will have to drill a larger hole for the pin to go into. You’ll have to elongate it a little as well. The hole the pin is screwed into will also need to be a little bigger or you will strip the head. Don’t use a screw gun. Tighten by hand.Once you see what the first pin needs, you’ll quickly do the same process again and again.Do NOT allow bad reviews to sway you! Drill the holes as stated and don’t use a screw gun. Excellent product!

Should be 1/16” short, still excellent
I got these items to secure my front door. The door opens outward and the hinges are outside. These secure the door if the hinges are compermised. The screw portion went in great but because the length of the stud, I needed to file one side of opposite screw hole on the hinge to created the needed clearance. Now I have an irregular shaped hole at that location. After this adjustment the doors opens and closes with no issue.I put two in with the same results, thanks

Cheap steel, too fat to fit through hinge hole
Our doors have standard wood screws and the hinges are sized to match. Even though the product description reiterates to check to make sure it will fit your door, they never actually mention the exact dimensions of the screw heads. Turns out they are waay too thick to fit through your typical US hinge screw holes and would require drilling not just the door but the hinge out too. The supposed hardened steel these are made out of is also cheap and soft. If these look like they will fit your door, great, otherwise just go for something higher quality and more reputable.

Strainghtforward to install
A bit expensive but still the cheapest security option and they're easy to install as long as you remember to:1. Drill out the opposite side of the hinge and door to allow them to poke through.2. Don't use a screwdriver since they're brass and will strip. Grip them from the outside with a drill chuck to drill them into the door frame.3. Install them at a slight angle towards the open door, since the door has to swing into them. They don't stick out of the frame any farther than the door so you can't really get caught on them.

Garbage
On first unpacking, these screws look good from afar, and are far from good. The No.2 Philip's head cross will strip out even if you screw them into balsa wood. The steel used for construction has a tensile strength of warm cheddar and blue stilton.

Head strips, had to use channel lock pliers to remove it. Garbage.
Don't buy this.
