Very pleased!
Purchased as a gift for a JD fan. Set was very nicely done. It was a huge hit! Chess pieces each securely packed in their own cushioned slot.

Missing piece
There is one chess piece missing from the set and there is no way to contact the seller, Artisan Owl, to get a replacement piece. There should be two pieces of the one pictured, but there was only one included in the set.

Somewhat fragile but excellent
This set is great! We love and the detail of the pieces and it's historical representation are beautifully done. The playing pieces are fragile though would recommend a gentle hand and play on a a table that sets on carpet in case it gets knocked to ground to prevent damage on small surfaces or accident probed people. Overall excellent board we love it
