Very Helpful After Surgery
We got this medical shower chair for my daughter to use after surgery, and it worked really well for us. It was easy to assemble, sturdy, and very helpful in the shower. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect Shower Chair
I broke my femur and needed an adjustable shower chair because I'm tall. I have a fairly large walk in shower and this fits perfectly. I love the handles on each side. I will probably leave it once I recover. Sitting down to wash my lower legs and feet will be much easier now. I fully recommend this Drive Medical Shower Chair. It was also easy to assemble.

Worked very well, nice construction
I broke my foot this year and was unable to get my foot and splint wet after corrective surgery. I sat in this chair in my shower with my leg resting on a folding chair outside the shower door. It was fairly easy to assemble while I rested my foot on the bed or floor as I went along (I refused to wait for my husband to help when he got home from work! lol). I weighed roughly 140 pounds before I broke my foot and my son broke the scale thankfully- because between not working once the summer started (worked at a school), and then breaking my foot in the middle of summer and having to sit when after I use to walk 10-12,000 steps daily really made me take a hit emotionally and on the scale I’m sure! Ha! But this chair and the shower head holder I bought made me feel so much better. The feet didn’t suction to the floor or any thing so if your kid uses way too much conditioner like mine does- wait to turn on the shower until you are safely seated or fully rinse the shower between/before uses or you may slide. I noticed some sliding even when it was cleaned of conditioner- but nothing crazy. The legs didn’t bow out, the creaked every now and then but I got use to it! This chair made my 6 weeks more bearable and I’m grateful to have had it!

Sturdy
Does the job, very sturdy! Drains okay. 4 stars only because it's kinda wide for a shower with a bathtub, but still works very well! Bought for use while broken foot was healing, awesome for the price, would recommend!

Good lightweight sturdy shower chair.
I needed this for post-surgery showers because I couldn't put amy weight on my leg. I am 5'6" and just under 180 lbs. Our shower stall is approximately 4X3 feet. This fit well against the wall opposite the shower head. The seat was deep enough that I could scoot to the edge and put thee shower head behind me while I washed. I also had to keep my hip joint open so the depth allowed me to lean back while i sat on the edge and stick my leg out. I did not feel unsafe sitting on the edge of the chair. I didn't feel like it would tip. The seat was wide enough that I felt supported as I shifted my weight left/right. The chair is lightweight and easy to put together. There are 2 settings for the back of the chair so you can set the back a little deeper if needed. Once I am done using this it will be taken apart and stored away for the next time it's needed. Good purchase.

Updated replacement now 5 stars
No tools easy to assemble, sturdy but lightweight. The height is adjustable. My only issue is the middle of the seat has a small piece of plastic sticking up that is very uncomfortable. I am gonna try taping over it. Other than that the sit is perfect!!! **2week update Almost fell out of chair while showering... The legs are not stable causing the right side of the legs to slide apart from the chair. I am 200lbs which is way under the weight limit. I only used the chair 3 times. On a brighter note I was offered a replacement chair and I will return defective chair. ***Update new chair arrived and it seems a bit sturdier it is made out of a heavier grey plastic instead of the thinner cloudy clear plastic (as seen in pic. above). However, one lower leg attachment was missing. Customer service did allowed me to take the leg off of the defective chair before mailing it back, so far it looks good.. ***Over a month of use and I must say the new one sent is %100 more sturdier no sliding legs... now I give 5 stars.

Cheap isn't always better
I actually use this for a bedside holder for remote controls because it will not fit in a standard bathtub, not the chairs fault it's these dumb manufactures that has engineers who cannot draft a workable product based on standard items like a bath tub. Seriously new houses in USA near $385K to millions aren't worth two wooden nickels when comes to quality as compared to 1950's Rambler style less than $75K "real brick" houses because they have real bathroom appliances, not that cheap fiberglass and plastic shower units. If I pay $385K plus for a house it will have quality made appliances, not that disgusting recycled plastic that will scratch and turn dull appeal in less than few years. Every heard term "hairlines", those fiberglass/plastic units are well know for hairlines the moment leave the mold in those factories. Hairlines over time harbor bacteria, and they cannot be repaired as so many gimmick ones claim. Those hairlines are caused from uncontrolled heat in the molding process, and you will get a composite tub or shower unit when you buy these high dollars houses that aren't worth those waste trees. Want quality in a house then buy from a quality builder who does not use composites and plastics. Hint if your builder was not born in the late 50's or early 60's then you're taking a chance on an experience old school's builder. To many contractors out here call themselves house builders as they grew up around building, but they are their dad's who knew what it took to build quality before profit. It takes on average 8 months minimum to build a 1500 plus sqft house anywhere if weather permits, not 5 weeks or less then you can move it - Don't fall for those advertisements same as don't buy some of these medical devices that claim to bring comfort. I was a homebuilder for over 30 years old school before air and battery devices, and we did not buy wood from big box stores, we milled our own wood from the site we built upon; and, let me tell you what is not fun. That is falling a shower because a shower chair would not fit a standard 30 gal tub well. Now days in USA if you want quality, you best get prepared to pay for it, it's well worth the wait and differences in price to get what suits you, not what suits others because you're going feel the difference later if you go cheap.

Solid, safe, attractive, chair, but tighten the wing nuts regularly
I bought this for a family member to assist with safe bathing. It is an example of the refinement and value of modern manufacturing. Light, strong, easy to assemble, well-designed, attractive, and the correct size to fit in a bathtub. Assembly is done using hand-tightening wing nuts, which is brilliant, as the nuts have plastic wings which are strong yet easy on the fingers, and if any nut gets loose, it can be fixed immediately without having to search for a tool and possibly putting off or forgetting the task. But one must remember to check their tightness periodically. Some of the nuts on ours tend to loosen gradually, and this reduces the stability and safety of the chair. For this reason, I awarded 4 out of 5 stars for stability. With nuts tightened, it gets a 5. One special note about the design: the chair has a random, non-repeating relief pattern to grip the body when sitting on it. It looks somewhat like an aerial view of lakes or puddles on a landscape, and is a particularly beautiful, interesting pattern, as it does not appear to repeat, and looks very natural. The designer blended the edges of the pattern in with the straight boundaries of the textured area so as to avoid awkward corners, showing impressive attention to detail and aesthetics. It's the kind of subtle elegance that I really appreciate in some products. Bravo to the designer!
