The Right Combination of "Comfortable" and "Romantically Seductive"
I am 5 feet, 7 1/2" tall, with a 34D bust, 27" waist. I ordered the red "small" based on the Amazon "drop-down" guide on the page. It wasn't until after I placed the order that I saw a note on the product page advising customers to "...please ignore Amazon Sizing info and refer to the Dare Fashion size chart on our seller page." Well, of course, *that* chart advised that I order a "medium," so I fully expected that the "small" I'd ordered wouldn't fit and would have to be returned. I was very pleased to find that the "small" fit just perfectly. I think the garment would have been too baggy in either the bust or waist if I'd actually ordered a "medium," "so I was very happy that I accidentally ordered the "wrong size." It's a stunningly beautiful garment that is just the right combination of cling and drape--seductive without being too sexy or revealing. My only complaint--and it's a very minor one--is that the ties in the front catch on just about everything and untie very easily. Since the black elastic waistband is what's actually holding it all together, the red ribbon is mostly decorative, so it's not like the garment falls off your body when this happens; it's mostly just a constant annoyance. But not annoying enough to make me give anything less than the 5 stars this product deserves.

Light weight and flattering
I wore this to our local Renaissance Faire this year. It's subtle coset look is very versatile, just casual enough. I got the blue color and I love how deep the blues are. There is a good combination of navy's and light teals. The corset is probably best left loose like in the picture. I did trim the bottom of the blue ribbons that were weaved through the corset part of the top. I'm short and anything hanging too long can make you look shorter.I should also mention that I love the fact that they have so many sizes. Some of the other companies that have a similar style to this only sell plus sizes. The medium size fit me just fine and I'm short and of average weight so I think the fit is great and this style of shirt would look great on anyone, regardless of size. I wish more companies had this kind of size versatility!Overall, the quality is good, the fit is good, I got lots of compliments and I would most likely buy an additional color in the future. This company can be a bit pricey but in my opinion the clothes last a long time and are very unique, which makes them more than worth the price.

I love this shirt but...
As stated before, this line of clothing runs a little small. As a top-heavy female, I ordered larger so my chest would neither be suffocated or exposed too much. This shirt is beautiful though, its amazing color and intricate designs, it fits snug to the body but in an appealing way. The biggest this that is upsetting with this shirt is that at the bottom it is not sewn together so after wearing it a couple of times and handwashing it like directing, the lace is starting to unravel at the bottom. I am really upset with that and hopefully it will clean up and stop unraveling. Other then that, it is beautiful and I love it.

Beautiful fit.
I recently got mine in the mail and thought I'd give some of the things that I was looking for when I was reviewing this shirt. I am 5'9 about 150 pounds and I ordered the 1x. I have a 42" bust and this shirt fit beautifully. It does have a tie string in the back as well. I haven't had a chance to wear it, with it being winter in New England, but I can't wait! I've already made another order for another one of Dare to Wear's styles that is similar. Also, my shirt arrived a few days before I had expected, which was great. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend.

Cute top
I followed what others said and bought a size up, and that seems about right. This is a "boob shirt", so if you are looking for something with a bit of coverage, wear a cami under it. It just barely covers a demi bra. The color seemed to be true to the photo, and both the ribbon on the front and the tie in the back are very long, so you can adjust it just right then cut it down some, and still have plenty of length. Really cute with black leggings or jeans.

Wash first, then perfect!
Loved the way it fit so much I put it on to go out right away when I probably should have washed it first. The red lace stained my arms and my purse straps. It has now been washed and I look forward to wearing it out again, looks gorgeous !

No waistband in back
My first Dare to Wear purchase, but not my last. The fit is great for my J-cup boobs. I was disappointed, though, that the black waistband doesn't go all the way around but stops at the sides. To my mind, that's a cheap look. Wish DTW had spent the extra time/money to make the look as great in back as in front. The hem on the lace overskirt unravelled the third time I wore it, which cost it another star.

Love the black bits
The lace type overshirt was unexpected but not without its charms. Love the black bits. The neckline was a tad lower then I thought as well...
