Fox Run 2.75" Shaker with Large Holes

The holes in the top are large enough for most barbecue smoker blends of rubs.However the shaker is about fourth of the size of normal shakers. It has enough volume for the rub for maybe one rack of ribs. I am keeping it because of the size of the holes but it would be great if they offered a much larger shaker.

Never thought I would write a review about a shaker! I purchased this shaker for one reason: I wanted to make a large quantity of a blend of herbs and spices for a garlic-lime chicken recipe I have. It was a nuisance to make up a batch each time I wanted to prepare the recipe. So, with this shaker, I have my herb blend all prepared whenever I want to make the recipe, and the large holes accomodate all the various sizes of the different herbs. The shaker is excellent quality stainless steel, making it durable as well as attractive, and the plastic cover helps to keep the herbs fresh, and makes it easy to "shake up" the herb blend before shaking it on the chicken! I'm thinking about purchasing a few more of these to store other spice/herb blends for recipes I use frequently. Shaker - 4 oz - Large Holes

The shaker looks nice, the plastic lid fits tight, I do wish the metal lid would fit with threads or at least have a groove that is longer, I had the lid come off by accident, you don't need to turn it much to have the lid come off., the holes are large enough for most spices, maybe a little too large for some. It would be nice to be able to get a whole set of them.

Good quality shaker. I use it for dispersing dried chicken powder that's leftover from cat treats. It works vet well and has a plastic lid on it. Kinda pricey though for a shaker. But quality is great

Most of my new cookware recommends Bar Keepers Friend to clean the pots & pans. This small shaker is perfect to attractively hold some of the Bar Keepers Friend powder. It makes it easy to reach for it every time I wash my cookware. I don't use the plastic top because it gets powder around the rim and can be hard to remove. I love this product and keep it on my window sill above my sink.

Much smaller that it looked in pictures the 2.75 is the height not the diameter which was not in the item description.But it is a quality product other than being small.

This item says large holes. I expected holes big enough for red pepper flakes. Other than that, it has a little interlocking dealy to keep the lid on and a plastic lid for freshness.

Small for cost
