Elegear Cooling Pillow Cases for Hot Sleepers, Set of 2, Standard 20" x 26"

This cooling pillowcase is amazing! It feels cool to the touch, very soft, and helps me stay comfortable throughout the night. The quality is excellent, and it fits my pillow perfectly. Great choice for hot sleepers. Highly recommended!

Years ago, I learned (not without some degree of pain) that the better part of valor is to let my wife manage nighttime thermostat settings. Unfortunately, since I tend to sleep a little warmer than she does, I woke up for years in the middle of the night sweaty and uncomfortable. No more!! It is no exaggeration to say that the Elegear cooling blanket has changed my life in a very positive way. (See my video review of that product for details if you're interested.) As a result, these pillowcases were an easy sell. After about two weeks of using them, I can't really imagine being more pleased. For less than $25, my life has improved again! The magic behind this product is the shiny side (which is an 80/20 nylon/polyethylene mix) that is remarkably cool to the touch. You can see (in second photo) the contrast between that side and the (100% cotton) warmer side on the reverse. I am almost certain that I will never use the warm side on my head! When I climb into bed, I position myself on my side, place the puffier pillow (again, shiny side up) between by legs for back support, lay my head on that cool (flatter) pillow, and I am out in minutes! Sheer wizardry. I do find that after a couple hours with my head on the pillowcase, the cooling effect recedes somewhat. This is easily remedied with a 180-degree rotation of the pillow and repositioning my head on a not-recently-used portion (which allows the part where my head was to cool back down). With my cool head is restored, back I go into dreamland! If you sleep on the hot side, please try this product! Honestly, the fact that I spent so little to change my life so profoundly makes me feel like I got away with something - in a very good way!

I always sleep hot and wake up because of it. I bought this in hope that it would help. I bought the navy. Upon opening I was a little shocked how thin these are . The color is very nice. It is cool to the touch but not Ice cold so I was very skeptical. I tried it on my pillow and it looked really nice so I decided to wash them on cold and keep them. I noticed on the first night of sleep they are not ice cold but they do not hold the heat either. I actually found I like them. I did not wake up in the middle of the night with a hot pillow. I want to say the temperature of the pillow stayed stable (slightly cool but not cold). I would recommend these, they seem well made. I like the material and the color. I took off one star because its not really Ice cold but it does seem to work.

I really like these pillowcases. They feel soft and comfortable, and I especially like the cooling side. They are breathable and feel nice against my skin while I sleep. The two-sided design is also convenient because I can choose the side I prefer. The beige color is simple and looks nice with my bedding. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and comfort

Good fit, like the zipper closure feature so pillow stays in the case. Soft material and stays cool for a long time. Very comfortable to sleep on especially since I’m a hot sleeper and use multiple cooling blankets also.

Has very little cooling affect. Is a good pillow case for those looking for a slick case for frizzy/tangled hair though.

I’ve been really enjoying these pillows. They’re soft but still give good support, and the cooling feel is especially nice at night. I usually get hot while sleeping, so having a pillow that doesn’t feel warm after a while makes a noticeable difference. The shape also gives my neck good support without feeling too firm. Overall, I’m very happy with the comfort and quality and would definitely recommend them.Perfect size and fits very good . I also really like the weight and thickness of these pillows. They feel substantial without being too heavy, and the thickness gives me the right amount of support without feeling too high. I also also that they’re washable, which makes them much easier to keep fresh and clean. Overall, they’re comfortable, practical, and easy to maintain.

Despite choosing the larger size, it utterly fails to deliver the coverage needed for a king-sized bed, let alone accommodate two people lounging comfortably (unless, perhaps, they’re both small child). it's impractical. Then there’s the material, which caught me completely off guard. The fabric feels reminiscent of a heavy t-shirt, but with a top layer akin to parchment paper. The texture? It’s a baffling fusion of rubbery and sticky—far from the comfortable experience I had hoped for. I wouldn’t dream of using it without a soft sheet as a barrier; the discomfort is just too much to bear. On the first night, my anticipation was through the roof as I hoped for the cooling relief it promised. Regrettably, disappointment set in quickly—I felt no discernible change in temperature. As I flipped the pillow over in search of some hidden magic, it became painfully clear: it performs no better than my trusty $20 fleece throw, which is infinitely softer, cozier, and truly satisfying on a chilly evening. But after two long hours, reality hit me like a freight train. I woke up feeling uncomfortably HOT. Despite our thermostat being set to a cozy 70 F, I was thrown awake, drenched in sweat, baffled that a product claiming to cool could do the exact opposite. Spending $30 on a cooling pillowcases that utterly fails to fulfill its primary promise is disheartening, to say the least. I’ve decided to stow it away in the guest room or perhaps use it as an extra layer in the car for those unexpected chilly moments. This experience serves as a sobering reminder from my many Amazon shopping adventures, reinforcing that some products ride high on overinflated price tags rather than genuine quality or usefulness. That said, I can identify a couple of minor perks: the pillowcase is incredibly lightweight and compact, which is a plus. However, paying $30 for a lackluster set pillowcases suited only for kids, pets, or occasional guests feels extravagant when there are cozy fleece alternatives available for a fraction of the price. I firmly believe a more affordable option without the rubbery coating would do just as well. I look forward to returning to my beloved pillow cases and have become much more discerning in my search for products that genuinely deliver on their promises, rather than simply boasting about them.

I think the blankets are much more effective than the pillow cases, however they are well made and function as pillow slips so they won't be wasted, although cost a fair bit more than non cooling slips. I stand by my very high opinion of the blankets - I have two and love to use them on hot nights. It could be that the pillow you use makes a difference, however my ordinary silk pillow cases (not cooling pillow cases) are cooler than these ones. So I probably wish I'd just bought another blanket or kept my money. I'm not mad though, its okay.

I have been in hospital for over a month every staff member has commented on how wonderful they feel they have helped through burning fevers hormones ect a few staff have placed orders theses are a game changer and need more promoting
