What's to say? Nothing lasts as long as Bosch tools. I used to pick these up at Home Depot near my house but they don't carry Bosch anymore. Besides, I got a better deal here at Amazon! With a little care and a variable speed grinder you can get a fairly smooth finish. I cleaned over 200 sq ft of brick surface and took 1/16" off about 80sf of concrete floor and its got plenty of grind left in it.

They are 4 1/2", not 5." I put it on a bosh floor grinder and the disc sits below the dust shroud. Had to cut some of the threads off with a metal saw to get it flush to the dust shroud.

This grinding wheel has worked great. I poured the top of a retaining wall and wanted to expose the aggregate and have it look more like stone then concrete. So far I have ground more than a hundred square feet and it is ready to do some more.
