EVGA GTX 780 Ti Classified Back Plate Cooling, 100-BP-2888-B9

Product was easy to assemble and looks awesome on this beastly graphics card. You remove 11 screws from the top of your GTX 780 Ti Classified which are clearly marked on the instructions. Remove the film from the front of the back plate and align it with the proper screw holes and screw in the 11 new screws that are provided to you with your back plate packaging. DO NOT remove the foam bits or the film from the back of the back plate, they are meant to be there and add protection to the card. Put the original 11 screws that you took out in a safe location in case you ever need to use the warranty on your graphics card, you will need to remove the back plate and return the original screws otherwise your warranty will be void. Did I mention how awesome it looks?

If you value your graphics card (which you should after all the money you spent on it), you must get a back-plate for the card. Not only it makes it look nicer, it protect it in case if any loose wiring lands on top while it's in the case. It also brings down the temperature by 3 degree C.Just 2 things to keep in mind, taking out the screws on the graphics card might be difficult - it is very tight so be careful. And second, the backplate instructions were a bit vague on the clear plastic on the back of the plate (facing inside the graphics car)- you DO NOT remove that plastic film. The only plastic you remove is on front of the plate.

The back plate was simple enough to install and looks good when it's on the card. The only issue I had was clearance between it and the video card above it. The fan from the upper card was hitting the back plate, causing it to not spin properly. I had to wedge a piece of plastic between the two cards to act as a spacer to hold them apart.

They only do 2 things.1. Maintain rigidity of the GPU across the length of the slot2. They look amazing behind a window.Price is reasonable, although these should have been included in the 780ti Classified dual cards to begin with, but if you're buying the cards that these attach to, you're not that concerned about budget for your builds. Construction is flawless, and if you're after aesthetics, they don't disappoint. I cannot confirm any temperature improvements but looking at how they attach, I'm sure there is some dissipation going on.

This is a good back plate for the gtx 780 ti classifiedIt made my card look even more beautiful than what it was I bought this more for the looks than anything also because my sound card is literally like touching the top Gpu that's another reason I got this back plate to protect the Gpu and high end sound card I have

Wish the card came with this in the first place for $750. Makes the card look much nicer and helps with cooling.

Not sure if I noticed the cooling difference but makes the video card look much better with it added on.

Looks good, and surprisingly dropped temps by 5 or so degrees. Had to knock a star off because for $800 (at the time), this plate should be included with the 780ti.

looks good and add's some duratbility to it, will consider this to anyone who has a EVGA GTX 780TI Classified

Great product. Looks fantastic on the graphics card. Arrived with all the screws etc.What more can I say it's a backplate lol.
