EcoPlus GL56708445X10 Barbed Straight, 0.75 Inch

Have purchased Hydro Flow Premium Barbed Tees and Elbows to connect 1/2" (RB) Poly Drip Line. These 'Premium' Fittings are terrific. They have plenty 'Barb' plus plenty of 'Friction Room' on the fittings. My particular situation is somewhat unique. I'm running Drip Lines along a 500+ ft slope to supply Drip Fields under mature trees along a treeline. The intent is for a relatively permanent installation; hence I am also using PEX Ring Clamps at each connection, just to ensure extreme wx elements (and pressure) doesn't cause a connection to 'pop loose'. However upon testing several of these initial Fields I've built, I've discovered that Hydro Flow's 'Premium' Fittings fit so well that I didn't need to crimp a PEX Ring around them to test my Fields. This is somewhat surprising because many other types/brands I tried "Popped-Off" immediately as I applied water; and I'm only supplying a regulated 30 psi. Very happy with Hydo Flow 'Premium' Fittings.

First of all, these are for 3/4 inch irrigation tubing which has an ID of .820 so I doubt it will not fit other types of 3/4 inch ID tubing. That may responsible for some of the bad reviews. That said, the outside of the barbs measure .820 so no way will it work with irrigation tubing a fact I confirmed. Even with a hose clamp it slipped and leaked when one hose clamp was not tight enough. Amazon suggests "often bought with" and links to .820 ID irrigation tubing and the packaging clearly says irrigation fittings so I thought it would work. I don't feel these are safe but I needed to get my irrigation system back together today so used them. Amazon does not seem to have any of the real fittings and they are not at any of the big box stores. Those 3/4 inch fittings just rattle as they are much smaller. I can't see any use for these fittings and if you insist, use hose clamps.

These are being sold individually. They do not come 10 per bag. Price is for one elbow. I would have ordered 10 if I had known. (Really, at 0.52 ea, it is not a big deal. I just didn't want 100 of them.) So with shipping, I paid $7.52 for one elbow, which is crap.Otherwise the lone elbow seems fine. Will work in my system, now I just need 9 more...........

Eco plus is the better of the 2 brands amazon offers for diy hydroponics .. :$ I went with 1/2 inch RDWC these 1.2 inch from hydro flow are not 1/2 inch but will work if using Ts Is and Ls all from sameComapny !! Dot mix and match trust me!Get creative you would be amazed how little it costs to DIY hydroponics!These are not the best or worse on market but if using any other parts/ plan on buying if needed just from hardware store won’t work as there only 3/8th inch not actually 1/2 so buy all 3 if buying!! Can’t stress that enough!!Edit I got wrong 1/2 inch ordered and order had 2-3 month delays can’t wait on replacemtns 3 more months...These premium ones are a lot better than the original ones just get original Ts as well for dip rings and other custom DIY as they have many uses !! As well
