JKS MFG. JKS 2001 Front Swaybar Quicker Disconnect System for Jeep TJ

Installation was fairly easy. Getting the old factory links off was a pain due to rust. The product quality seems good. Time will tell. I like the quick disconnect option. I think this is a reasonable option for the price if you want to unlock your suspension off road.

The item itself is great, received it this morning but wasn’t expecting what i found. The item was no longer in original packaging when it arrived, it was bouncing around the inside of the shipping box which led to the chilling of the link and top mount. The box was 3 times bigger than the disconnects and had no paper or bubble wrap in it. The item was sold as “new” But had clearly been purchased, returned, and re-sold. The only part of the original packaging that was still intact was the foam to hold the links in place. The links themselves installed easily and are very nice quality.

I had a broken sway bar link on my Jeep TJ after a 2.5" lift, so I took the opportunity to do an upgrade with these disconnects. Install was easy (easier than the removal of the old links). Really like that they include stud to bolt to the frame after you drill a hole so you can stow them while disconnected. Do yourself a favor and get a 5/16-in-18 2-Flute M2 HSS Tap with Drill Bit. Dewalt #DWADT51618 is what I used for the storage stud hole.

Cons, no instruction or hardware for where to put the keepers when you disconnect the sway bar links. There are a few spacers and tubes / bars for mounting the links when you disconnect them. There is no advice or instructions for what or how it should be done. Pros, GREAT price, the kit works and it did not take me long to install it (after I removed my old rusted and not movable sway bar links). They look good as well, someone asked what those shinny black things were, they stick out on a rusty rig.

Very straightforward upgrade, just be sure you have a the proper drill tap for the brackets that tuck the links away while they are disconnected

I should’ve of bought this from the get go when I redid my whole front end on my XJ. I tried to save money and went with the Rough Country kit and it was garbage. This kit sees very well made and looks very sturdy as can be. Glad I forked over the money to buy this kit.

I have a 03 TJ with 35” tires and 4” lift. Seem well built and easy to install. I would say follow the directions that come with it. I don’t know how the storage post would rub on the tire, they seem to tuck up out of they way when disconnected and I have turned my wheel all the way in and it doesn’t come close. I can see after after getting them muddy they might be hard to reconnect, I would Suggest some clean water and some silicone spray. I would also say when installing it tells your to set your sway bar at a certain degree, I used my level on my iPhone to achieve this just a top.

I purchased these after losing the lower bolt to one of my sway bar links. That bolt alone (which also has an obnoxious torque end) is 30 bucks. While thewe are obviously more than that, the added benefit to quickly disconnect your sway bar is absolutely worth it. JKS does not require you to reuse any hardware, the joints are all greaseable, and it was the easiest aftermarket install I've had so far.

Product was installed no problem. However, the stowaway disconnect pins were not in the box. Maybe an oversight, but could it be resolved?

Anyone that wants disconnects should never look any further than JKS. There's others on the market that try to look and function like JKS but they're subpar in so many ways. JKS's materials used are top-notch, their grease channels are functional and make the rubber last longer and they're a made in the USA with USA materials unlike anything else on the market. Add to that, if by slim chance there is an issue, their customer service is top notch and they stand by their products with a great warranty. You pay a little more for JKS vs a Chineseum wannabe product but you get what you pay for: top-notch quality and a company that stands behind the product. For a few extra dollars don't you want to buy a product just once vs saving a little money now but having to replace it within a year or two?

Easy to install. Works well. After 6 month's of use it's still a quality part.
