Just Artifacts 14-Inch White Round Chinese Japanese Paper Lantern (1pc, White)

This is the exact size and color (14-Inch Salmon Peach) my daughter was looking for. That said, when I went to hang it, the metal support that holds the lantern open is slightly too small and it keeps slipping off the hoops at the top. Super annoying and I fiddled with it for 20 minutes trying to get it to stay and NOT tear the paper. Finally took some pliers and rebent the metal to make it stay. Overall good for $7.

Somebody (not me) broke the frosted glass globe in the guest bathroom and guess what? I can't buy just the globe anywhere, I've looked. I can't complain about the breakage, cleaning was going on and I wasn't doing it, so that's good, eh? So until the "Breaker" decides what kind of new fixture she wants in the bathroom, I found this paper globe to replace the glass one. I stuck in a 100 watt equivalent CFL to eliminate the heat that might discolor the paper globe (she can sometimes take way too long to make up her mind) and was surprised to find that it looks pretty good. Not good enough to permanently replace the original globe but much better than an idiot friend's advice to cut an opening in a gallon milk container to serve as a light diffuser. What? No duct tape involved? I would hate to have my bathroom look like it guest-starred in an episode of "Cops.""Drop the crack pipe and back out of the bathroom with your hands up! Lieutenant, is that a gallon milk jug on that light fixture? Lemme shoot him for this crime of fashion. C'mon, maybe just in the leg."So, a cheap, attractive paper lantern for your next party, or just to hide your private shame.

These lanterns added the perfect touch to our event! The lighting makes them appear different colors however they’re ivory and we also used (remote controlled) lights inside. You have to be careful putting it together however they’re also sturdy. Can’t wait to use them again!

It holds up very well and omits enough light for a small room to have a nice glow.

Very sturdy and color match is perfect

First off... I don't think the color is reddish orange. But! The color is vibrant and everytime I look at it I feel happy. For some reason it's a comfortable decoration. Need I remind you to be EXTRA careful when assembling it. {I accidently poked a few holes in the op of it.} don't worry if you happen to tear it... The damage isn't noticeable when you just look at it from a little distance.

I had the same experience as a previous reviewer - the color I received is white, it is not ivory or off-white, it is white. It's okay with me, but I ordered this one because I wanted the warmth of a tinted lampshade.

Exactly what it looks like. A nice lantern to cover a bulb. Make sure you have the hardware/bulb socket. But this gives the room a nice soft glow when you put a bulb in. It is paper so you must be careful, but that is what you get with a paper lantern.
