Spigen Tough Armor iPhone 5C Case for iPhone 5C - Dodger Blue

I purchased the  SPIGEN iPhone 5C Case Slim [Tough Armor] [Dodger Blue] Air Cushioned Protective Case with Dual Layer for iPhone 5C - Dodger Blue (SGP10546)  about a month ago. It's an even more attractive shade of blue than the iPhone 5c itself.The case fits the device perfectly, while feeling really good in the hand. There's also a nice grip to the case, which really helps. I was worried how slippery and thin the naked phone felt. This case gave me a much greater sense of security.It's also highly functional. Each button and socket is readily accessible while still being protected.I haven't dropped the phone yet, so I can't speak anecdotally as to just how good the protection should be. However, in comparing its design to a case I had for my previous android phone, I trust it. The front edges are raised enough that the screen won't be directly hit if dropped on a flat surface.I chose this over several other cheaper cases due to how elegant and well-crafted the design looked. It wasn't just a big clunky mess or a cheap better-than-nothing case. I can tell Spigen actually put a lot of thought into the look, the feel, the edges, the color, the protection. The price is totally worth it. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I would have given this 5 stars if there had been more protection for the screen. I have a 4s with an Otterbox (commuter) case that I love, and the lip on that one is higher than for this Spigen, which I got for a 5c. The color is fantastic. Putting it on is one of the easiest things to do ever, which is surprising because its nothing trivial to take it off (I can't say the thing for the Otterbox. It was a pain to get on the phone and is just a little less of a pain to get back on. If I had to choose, I would love for it to be easy to put the case on and hard to take off. Genius. Covers the buttons very well, and is honestly such an attractive design. Has just enough grip for handling needs. I wish there was either a screen cover or a higher lip to help protect the screen. Money well spent on this.

When I finally caved and bought my youngest daughter her first iPhone last year, my biggest worry was that she'd break it. Four nephews and nieces around her age as well as numerous other relatives and friends had already shattered their screens, so I was paranoid. Well, I had two choices: buy Apple care and just be prepared to possibly pay hefty deductibles beyond the upfront plan costs, or buy a darn good case. I opted for plan B and boy am I glad I did! So far, for the past 13 months, this case has done precisely what I wanted: prevented her from breaking her phone. I have watched her drop and abuse her phone repeatedly but the most I've had to do was replace the screen protector a few times. Each time I remove the iPhone to do so, the phone itself looks pristine even though the case now shows visible signs of wear such as scratches. The phone should not only last but hold trade/resell value quite well until the end of the term.

I chose this case for my iPhone 5c for many reasons. The case was a perfect fit for my iPhone and came in a sleek blue (which I liked very much. I switched to this case while I was upgrading from my old iPhone 4. I had an Otterbox Defender series case and it was very sturdy, but a bit bulky at times. I bought this case thinking it will protect my phone, but not very good (because only bulky cases could do that right). It turned out I was wrong in my judgement. The case kept my phone secure (I have dropped it several times), and still very thin. I also enjoy the upswing in the volume buttons. And I have easy access to my ports which is a nice feature to have compared to othe cases where the ports are sometimes hard to reach. The one reason I dislike the case is because it is slightly slippery. In the end and overall this is an awesome case!

It's funny that I should be asked if I want to provide a review of this product today of all days, because about 3 hours ago, I dropped my iPhone down a concrete flight of stairs. It bounced on all edges, front, back, and every which way, landing face-down on the concrete pad at the bottom of the staircase. And...the phone is unharmed! Not a scratch or a crack or any sign that it just tumbled down about 14 stairs. So, I give this case 5 stars. Also, it fits my iPhone 5c perfectly - I can get to all ports without any trouble, as I guess is a problem with other cases. I also like the slim profile - it seems some other protective cases that I've seen are much bulkier. Finally, I got the blue case for my white phone. Someone else mentioned that the blue of this case doesn't match the blue of the iPhone 5c, but my husband has the blue iPhone 5c, and this case's blue matches it perfectly, so if that's a concern for you, go ahead and get the blue.

Great case! I bought this as a gift after having purchased one for myself already. I used to be a loyal Otter Box customer and after having several cases disintegrate on me (the rubber just gives out after a while), I decided it was time for a change. This Tough Armor case is PERFECT. It's so much more sleek than the Otter and just as protective. I highly recommend!!Bad service: I ordered this as a gift and was depending on the delivery to be as expected. It arrived 2 days late. When I received the tracking info and it said it would arrive later than expected, I contacted the seller right away. They said there was nothing they could do, short of me buying ANOTHER case and having it expedited. Then I could return the other case when it arrived. Are you kidding me? You solution to receiving my order on time is to make a second order and hope this package might be delivered on time? Bad customer service.

Fits perfectly, phone feels solid but not bulky. I purchased a separate screen protector though. but the case has protected my phone very well and there have been many drops and tumbles.

It fits my iphone 5c like a hand in a glove, and the certificate gives strong confidence that it is indeed, the original, and not a cheap imitation.Build quality is very good, the buttons work impeccably, and really feels the phone is well protected.

Spigen not as well known as Otterbox but they make high quality cases - got mine today - easy to install and great looking protective case!

I've dropped my phone many times, even on the side of the screen and the case is bulky (not too bulky) enough to protect against even very hard throws. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're one of those people who drop your phone a lot; these iPhone's aren't exactly strong. It fits in my pocket fine and isn't too bulky of a case.
