My wife won a 22" Victorinox Werks Traveler v2 7 years ago. I taken it on over 100 flights and was durable and spacious. Its right at the limit of domestic carry on. I was asked to stuff it in the checker a few times, but it always passed. The only design mistake with v2 was the single pole handle and that was fixed in this v5 model. Looking forward to many more years with this new one!!

Best for suits
This bag is taller than other carry-ons, pushing the allowable limits. But I’m willing to take the risk because the extra height better accommodates suit shoulders. Roll aboards designed to meet the newest carry on standards are not as tall, so their suiters are narrower across the shoulders. TravelPro Elite is a classy, well made bag — better looking and maybe better built than this one. But the narrow suiter required me to crush the shoulders of my 40L jacket just to make it fit, which defeats the purpose. Only four stars because this bag does not seem as well made or refined as the aforementioned competition, but it does provide more capacity. I suspect the 6.0 version may be smaller to conform to the newest carry on standards, so buy this one while you can.

Great suitcase, but I miss the old design
Compared to other suitcases of the same price, I think this one probably has the highest quality, lowest weight, and nearly highest capacity. The insert divider thing for separating the suitcase into two sections is well designed and well made, but I'm not sure how useful it is. I am perfectly capable of simply filling the bottom with socks etc. and then laying other things on top, the divider doesn't help much.I'm sad that it doesn't have the single-column curved handle that older Werks models had (e.g. http://amzn.com/B00J3ZQU52 ), I'm not sure why they phased that out.

I'm a fan of this manufacturer because I owned a similar bag, but this one was not accepted as carry-on for United flight

Light, maneuverable and holds plenty with ease
A surprising amount of room inside. I usually travel with a Hartmann rollaboard that holds an amazing amount of stuff and this Werks holds the same stuff and lighter weight and more maneuverable. I usually travel more than 100k/yr so those are the features I'm looking for. Time will tell how well it holds up but so far it's great.

Travel without checking?
This is really roomy but I fear this bag may be checked. I hAve had an older version for probably 8 years. Roomy and has served me well. I have never had to check except for when it is expanded. I mainly travel Southwest and in recent years have been able to vertically load into overhead but previously always loaded horizontally. This bag appears to be 23 inches tall which most likely would pose a problem as a carry on. The wheels on this bag are smaller and they changed the handle style. But gosh is this bag light! The lightest of all the bags I have tried as I research new luggage.I loved my old bag in that it held so much but it seems it may be time for me the find an alternative bag as being able to carry clothes (with multiple changes for business and pleasure events) for 5 day trips AND not to have to check my bag is my goal. That has been my lifestyle for the last 8 or so years. Too bad the newer version of this bag seems taller and therefore riskier for checking. I like the blue. Oh well.

A well-thought-out carry-on bag - a mature design in all respects
This is my go-to bag for travel (I use a carry on, and don't check a bag). I particularly like the little reflective tabs, and the maturity of the design in general - as a 5th generation product, it's really well thought out.

Absolutely not worth $300 etc
Come on...you made this carry on in Thailand which costs you a nickel and then sell it in here for 2000% margin. At least when you gain this much make something solid. The carry on handle is already loose in the first time, etc
