What is the smoke point for this product?

I am not sure of the smoke point but I do know that if it is cooked on low heat there will not be as much or any smoke. I hope this helps.

Is this food grade? I understand its not virgin, is it still better then canola oil?

This oil is food grade. I read an article at some point that Kirkland oil is one of the better olive oils you can buy. Canola oil is not good for you since it is entirely processed.

I always thought that olive oil was strictly monosatuated and should not have any saturated fats or even polyunsaturated fats. Am I missing something?

I don't think so but I was told that extra virgin olive oil is a good source to use.

what is the expiration date?

Expires 01/14/2018. I bought this March 8, 2016. Time to re-order.
