This tea is a great value at its current price of $18.99. Have brewed it now both Gong Fu style and western style with very good results. Nice full whole leaves. Appears to be well and carefully crafted.Very nice malty flavor and rich color in the cup. Can be re-steeped several times. I do not detect smokiness here, unlike the heavy smoked notes of other Lapsang Souchong teas that I have had, but given the quality of this tea I don't miss it at all.

this tastes to us like a milder version of lapsang souchong, but with some other flavor we can't pinpoint -- we're not that experienced with the varieties of lapsong, but really like this one better than any we've been able to buy in u.s., and it's also reasonable.

I received this tea in good time sooner then I expected. I like it to me it is very good. I wish it would of had a smokey aroma and taste it is mild in flavor and malty. I would order it again.

This looks good but it;s not very strong and could be any ordinary black tea.
