Survival Gear Review - BG bracelet
Recently received my survival bracelet (not my first survival bracelet) and was very anxious about it.I love the size (it's really big) as well as the color (light grey and orange). The bracelet is one-size-fits-all, so I was worried. I'm a big guy and was concerned it wouldn't fit. So in the end, it does fit, but it's a tight fit. My normal "clasp" survival bracelets are ~10.5", this one fits only because of the stretch material used to make it universally adjustable. If the bracelet itself would have been about an inch longer it would have been absolutely perfect for me. I am concerned that the singular elastic band that holds the bracelet together in the back will not last over time - but only time will tell. The whistle leaves a lot to be desired for serious rescue needs....basically a moderately loud high pitch sound instead of a traditional whistle.Looks great and a decent amount of paracord available in emergency needs. And because it was such a great price here on Amazon, you can't really go wrong.

Not the best, but you could do worse
Not the best, but you could do worse. Kind of a weird fit with the elastic bands, I don't expect it to stay with me under stress.

A stylish well-maintained is bulky survival bracelet
This is a useful and well constructed survival bracelet. The reason that I gave it only four stars was because the loop that they provide to keep the whistle from getting in your way overtime doesn't do a very good job of securing it.

It broke
It was good for 2 days, then it started coming undone on the third day, and there seemed to be no way to wind it up again

Good Idea that wasn't implemented well
Good Idea that wasn't implemented well. It sets loose if you wear it for a while. the paracord is two pieces (orange and grey) that are heat-fused together to make one longer piece.

I was expecting a better survival bracelet
I was very disapointed. I was expecting a better survival bracelet. I found one a lot better at Sports Authority. The bracelet closing mechanism is weak and it should be replaced by a better one.

Absolute Rubbish
I bought two of these and within a few days the glue failed on both of them. At one end, there are now 4 ends pieces of string sticking out and it's now falling apart. Awful workmanship to fall apart in the house, imagine if you used it outside or the purpose for which it was designed. Complete waste of money.

Comes with a whistle!
Awesome product. I wear it most days as it isnt just for emergencies, it looks nice on the wrist too. The paracord is super long and the whistle on the end of it is very loud, if needed would easily attarct attention. There are also tutorials on how to put the bracelet back together if you ever take it apart.

Great bracelet for scouting nephew.
Nephew loves it and he is annoying my sister with the whistle which is a bonus.

Bear Grylls survival bracelet
Looks the part with plenty of para cord. My only gripe is the whistle. Is it loud enough to be heard and get you rescued if your lost in the wilderness?? I don't think so, hence 4 stars.
