Clean finish makes installation easy
Love the color bright and vibrant on the pain. Sturdy construction but what I really like is all the parts fit! Parts came labeled and clearly shown in manual. Steps are well illustrated. One person job might need a ruler and a Philip screwdriver but no metal hole you have to force into, even the leg has rubber piece that can be adjusted so 4 legs are equal height. Cute design but not sure why the useless rail on top which I opt out since the screws were weird locking ones.

Easy to assemble
This desk has some nice features. The top-most desk area can be removed if you want and it will not effect the sturdiness of the desk. Additionally, the feet can be raised/lowered by twisting the bottom of them to make the desk taller/shorter. The parts themselves are labeled instead of the bags they're which makes assembly quite simple. The assembly is stupid easy as long as you have some semblance of common sense. The shorter end goes to the back, the longer end to the front. The screws for the top mesh panels are not in fact machined wrong as many have stated but are what's known as tapping screws. These are screws that once you put them in you can not take them out again. You can either use a drill, which will be easier, or just push extra hard with a screwdriver. I would recommend putting together the bottom and main desk parts and then putting on the top part. I believe this would be MUCH simpler than what the instructions state. Also, I'd put on the mesh panels to the top metal parts prior to attaching the metal parts to the top desk due to the tapping screws. I bought this for my husband and it fits him well. As noted by others, in case you can't tell from the pictures, this does not come to a point at the back. I believe this is to make it easier to put cords through but who knows. Overall this is a very sturdy incredibly easy to assemble desk. I'd guess it took me about an hour, with a few breaks.

Love this desk! For all ages!
So happy with this purchase! The quality is shocking. This product is well worth the money spent! It fits well in a corner or on a straight wall. It isn't so big that it will overtake a room, but it's big enough for a small laptop or, in my 9 year old daughter's case, an iPad, a desk lamp, books, homework, calculator, trash can, usb outlets, pen holders, stapler, picture frames... Lots of room. I wish this desk had been available when I was in college as it would have been perfect for a dorm room or apartment in college. It's pretty, functional, has lots of room, and it works!

Bigger than you might think.
I am fairly impressed with this desk. Most of the time when I've shopped online for a cheap desk, I pick something that looks nice in the picture and wind up with a pvc and particle board nightmare. This desk is made of hard metal and heavy composite wood. Very heavy. This thing weighs over fifty pounds! It's not flimsy at all, except for the washers (more on that in a moment). It's a youth desk, but I am a short adult and it fits me just fine. In fact I think it could stand to be a little shorter. The only way to adjust this desk is by leaving off the bottom frame and/or the bottom pegs. I'd rather leave it as is just because it would be a pain in the arse to take any of it apart again. Putting it together is about the only drawback of this desk. The instructions leave MUCH to be desired. I'll give you some hints in case you decide to buy this desk: the washers are meant to cradle the pegs so as to protect the desk's marble-looking finish. If you put them in wrong side down, the washers will tear. The pegs that hold the screens have holes in them where the screws go. You will need to screw the pegs in at an angle to make sure the holes can align. The legs for the bottom look identical, but the ones for the back have holes in them for - you guessed it - the screen that goes in the back. On that note, you cannot rely on the welding marks or even the shape of the eyes for the screws for how to arrange those legs on the bottom. You just need to make sure those holes are facing backwards or your bottom back screen can't go up. There is an Allen wrench that comes with the kit. You will also need a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). The desk is shaped in such a way that you can place it in a corner without losing a lot of your room's real estate, but you don't have to put it in a corner. The flat back will go up against a wall with no problem. The desk has a nice design for hanging things off of. I have a power strip clamped to one angled side, and two headsets dangling off the top pegs. If you're in the market for a cheap desk and don't mind the cheesy purple and fake marble, you could do a lot worse.

Basically, a good basic desk.
Assembly was easy, and the desk is very helpful for homework. It is a desk my daughter can grow with a use for many years. For a small 10 year old, my daughter fits just fine. We have to have an adjustable height chair, but the chair designed for this desk works well. It is a bit of a pain that they are sold separately, which causes them to arrive at different times, but not enough to make me dislike the product. Overall, the faux marble cover seems a little flimsy, but strong enough for a simple desk. If you are thinking you can use the top shelf as a bookshelf, I would reconsider. If you purchase some bookends, it might work, but I think it is best to use it for pencil boxes and such. There are no drawers, which is both good and bad. Lack of storage=bad; less for my daughter to play with=good. It is listed as a study desk, and works well from about 4th grade up.

Pretty and Fun!!
This corner desk is awesome and it is quite large. We purchased it for our daughter's American Girl dolls and doll furniture. Love the color, it is a very pretty pink, even prettier than in the picture which is very close to actual color. There is lots of room with this desk and our 10 year old uses the top shelf for her "girl's" sports equipment and the big desk area for her doll"s kitchen table and chairs. The bottom shelf holds a doll sofa on each side and she hangs all her doll's clothes on hangers on the pink metal wall in the middle so the whole bottom shelf is like a giant dressing room for her dolls. Her American Girl dolls are 18" tall and there is still plenty of head and play room even with the dolls standing and our daughter playing with them! Wonderful and fun play area besides being a desk...
