GBMGentle PICC Line Covers (Black, Extra Large)

I ordered four different types in anticipation of having PICC line placed mid bicep on my left arm. Of all four. This was the only one that actually works for my active lifestyle ( I'm 39 and a fire fighter medic/educator) . It's true to size. The others were too loose or wayyyyyy to tight. I'm a bigger woman. Size 16 and a 2xl in women's clothes. This fit exactly right.Highly suggest this if you are active and scared to death to have your PICC line yanked out by accident.

I bought this PICC line cover, as well as two others, in blue and black, to replace a replace a cheap, soft open-mesh plastic cover, not unlike those soft, thick plastic mesh bags used to hold citrus fruit at a supermarket produce counter, for a PICC line installed by a hospital for a medical treatment. Although tall, I am not a big-boned, muscular guy, and worried that the extra-large size sleeve might have been more appropriate for a more-muscled guy, and fit too loosely, on my upper arm.Not to worry, as the XL size fits just right, snug enough to keep the PICC line connector from being snagged on things, and risk being accidentally removed. The cloth is a soft, smooth Lycra-like, opaque fabric that is easily washable under a kitchen or bathroom faucet, dries fairly quickly, and covers the upper arm sufficiently, when wearing a short-sleeve shirt. When stretched to it's maximum length, it is about eight inches long.

I debated size, ordered a size down and it fits fine. It has not stretched out. It is stretchy enough I can stuff double lumens, 2 extensions and clamps in there and they stay put all night. I wish they had more colors. Very comfortable. Won't work for me for daytime when the extensions are down and I am on TPN. I got long covers from Cast Cover Fashions for that.

Size guide is not true to fit. I repeated measurements several times and guide suggested XL when logic told me a medium or large should have been adequate. Consequently after a day or two of wear we sewed a new seam tightening by about 2 inches. Also walks with repeated elbow flexion. Still looking for a better solution.

This would be a good thing for people like me with a pic line if it would run true to size. Ordered a large and it was to small. I ordered a extra large and it also was to small. I put them side by side and they are the same size. My arms are average size. I am trying to stretch them because if I can get the to fit they would work fine. As of now I definitely would not recommend them especially at $20 bucks each.

This cover has made my medical recovery so much easier. Having a PICC line dangle and get in the way is not a good choice, but the net coverings the hospital supplied are only good for a couple of days and attract attention. The GBM PICC line cover is reusable, protective and relatively good looking. I am much more confident having chosen the GBM Gentle PICC Line Cover.

If you're like me, you're paranoid about the PICC line snagging on things or leaking. This cover offers several sizing options to make sure that it fits snuggly against any arm. The fabric is luxuriously pleasant to feel, and in six weeks with the line in my system, it never leaked or got damaged because of this cover. Definitely recommend!

Loved this to hid my picc line and keep germs away. I have bigger arms but kinda wish I would of got a large due to it stretches a little. Great product though and of course love i was able to get pink. Made it look like i was just wearing an undershirt
