LFOTPP Car Front Bonnet Gas Springs for Kona, Lift Struts Hood Support

Delivered much quicker than predicted and, as reported by German customers, comes with no instructions.Fits my Kona EV 2019 model perfectly. No extra parts needed, just a 10mm and 13mm spanner for the silver ball posts plus a 12mm socket/spanner for the bonnet bolts. These do indeed taper but can be re-used with the kit without additional washers.Once fitted, the struts work exactly as on cars with factory-fitted units. Bonnet stay no longer required.Really pleased with these gas struts.

Very easy to fit even though there are no instructions in the kit. Literally the only tools required are 12mm sockets/spanners - all the holes exist already, just fit the adaptors and clip the struts in place. The hardest part is undoing the existing bolt at the bonnet end - this is fitted during manufacture prior to painting the car, so it's quite tight to remove, and a little anti-corrosion protection is a good idea. The end result is amazing and really finishes off the vehicle.

Fitted perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars was I had to use my own washers and nuts to fit them but other than that they worked very well.
