My desktop computer was sitting on a plywood base that I built. My noisy WD Black hard drives transmitted a vibration into the base that got the whole thing humming loudly. Bought these, put them on, no more hum! Amazing. Make sure to check your desktop's weight and buy the correct feet. Highly recommended and significantly less expensive at Amazon that the other place I found them.

This is a truly fantastic product. The rubber feels squishy and grippy, but doesn't feel low quality in such a way that one would suspect if would quickly degrade. I bought them to eliminate vibrations coming from my gaming pc/workstation (WD Black HDD and Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 case on an IKEA desk). The vibration coming from that combination was causing my mouse to track funny. I tested the pads on both the bare case and on top of the original case feet with the hard drive in both positions. I found that they functioned best when applied on top of the original case feet. Worth the money.

Simply put..They work! My desktop was making a low but annoying vibration hum that I could feel on the desk. I got these to see if they would help and when I applied them they eliminated the vibration on the desk as well as reduced the noise significantly! Keep in mind that they will NOT stop the normal hardware noise from fans, HDD, etc. Another bonus; The shipping was very fast!

My machine sits on the floor, and when the hard drives fire up, it can vibrate and make an obnoxious hum. Bought these rubber stabilizers and now the computer is silent again. Always a shame these can't be bought locally, but Amazon never keeps me waiting for long. These are worth the money.
