I’ve recently discovered that medication which raises my histamine levels is contributing to me collapsing. Amounts other symptoms I also suffer from food intolerances, severe migraines, IBS, ME/ CFS, hypothyroidism, allergies, light disturbed sleep, hypersomnia, a moving sleep cycle, frequent and severe fungi infections and skin rashes. I have found these tablets to be very useful for reducing the amount of histamine in my digestive track before it reaches my blood stream. I did accidentally forget to take it and had a long and drawn out mild allergic reaction to some of my new medication. I take a lot of antihistamines as well, but without this tablet it want enough to stop the aggravation. At the time I was too tired to leave my bed, so I had to scratch myself intensely for 2 hours straight before I could get the strength to reach this tablet and some more antihistamines. I learnt my lesson and now take it before breakfast everyday. I find that one is usually enough per day on a low histamine diet. If I have higher histamine foods I take two. It has helped the migraines, less intense and frequent, but the big difference is the rashes, stomach swelling, pale stools, heat intolerance (reduced), head fog and drug sensitivities. For those with a suspected case I DAO deficiency they are worth a go. You don’t need to take them with every meal. Just take one a day and be sensible most of the time. Take two for special occasions. For those that find it doesn’t work for migraines, migraines are complex and even if histamine is making them worse, they will most likely be being triggered by other things too. I currently waiting to take a blood test for DAO Deficiency. It’s not robust because there are no agreed upon values and DAO is present I. The bowls, pancreas and the kidneys, but considering how sensitive I am I’m expecting a very low result. Unfortunately there is currently a shortage of home blood test packs so it maybe a while before I see results. I suggest to other people to do an elimination diet first, then look at trying the tablets, possibly a private blood test £40-50 is the cheapest. This is a new area of medicine and is very experimental, but for those of use who are deficient, it’s very helpful in a day to day basis. Good luck with your ailments.

histamine gives me headache, tummy upset and chronic fatigue. when I take antihistamine tablet i feel great. i tried this given the rave reviews! every time take it before a meal it breaks me out in HIVES!!! what the hell? also I still have all my usual symptoms too, don't feel any better but this tablet added a new problem hives and itching all over my body/ no thank you going in the bin!

My husband developed a severe intolerance to histamine in food. He suffered with daily headaches, bloating and itchy skin. Until he tried Naturdao he struggled with a very restricted diet which made him extremely miserable. Reluctantly, he agreed to try Naturdao (he hates taking tablets) and, because he has tried so much in the past, was very sceptical about their efficacy. He was also worried about potential side effects. I have to say that from the outset his life has changed for the better. He is able to eat a wide range of foods containing, and producing, histamine without suffering any of the previous debilitating ill-effects. As far as he is aware, he has not suffered any side-effects. Our life is returning to something like normal! Two weeks in to a regime of taking a tablet before every meal I think that this is the best investment we have made in a health product. Thank you!!!

I took this, hoping it would help with my histamine intolerance issues, but instead, I just got a low level but very consistent feeling of nausea and dizziness. It's a shame because I was really hoping this would work for me, but I can't take it anymore if those are the side effects. The nausea and dizziness went away in about a day and a half after I stopped taking it. This might work for someone else though, so long as it doesn't trigger those side effects, like it did for me.

Please, don't listen to negative reviews just because this product didn't work for the reviewer. It could just be that they didn't have a histamine issue or that a lack of DAO is not the reason for their histamine issue, or that they're not on a low histamine diet and DAO alone can't put a curb on their histamine intake. There may be many reasons, just keep in mind that that type of review isn't reflective of the product itself. Here are my two cents regarding the product itself. It's great value for money! So far, I haven't found anything comparable on the market in terms of price:HDUs ratio. The fact that NaturDAO is plant based is also great and makes it stand out from other non-cruelty-free brands. The pills are easy to swallow, neatly packed and the little bag of beans on the box is very cute imo. It's still early to tell for me but I seem to be tolerating it well (in terms of adverse symptoms or side effects), but even if I didn't because I don't tolerate many supplements, I still think NaturDAO is a great product, worth a try if you need to take DAO for whatever reason. And it does seem to help with my histamine issues. Honestly, I'm really glad that NaturDAO exists because I don't think there's a better option out there. Na mnie te tabletki działają korzystnie. Dopiero niedawno odkryłem, że fatalny wygląd skóry mojej twarzy jest związany z histaminą (a mam 62 lata). Do tej pory lekarze przepisywali antybiotyki i mówili, że to trądzik różowaty. Odkąd biorę te tabletki i unikam spożywania produktów zawierających duże ilości histaminy jest kolosalna poprawa.

Intolérante a l'histamine, diagnostiquée et laissée dans le flou depuis des années avec un traitement a base de cortisone et d'epinephrine, j'ai testé en désespoir de cause. Et je ne regrette pas. Je n'ai quasiment plus de brûlures d'estomac (nous verrons a la prochaine gastroscopie si l'inflammation a réellement disparue) et j'ai pu manger des aliments banis depuis des années comme les bananes sans avoir de brûlures autour et dans la bouche. Il faut rester lucide sur les attentes, je n'irais pas quand même pas m'envoyer un plateau de crustacés. Je tiens à la vie! Donc je ne vais pas dire que c'est parfait et que tout va bien mais si ça peut m'éviter ulcères et autres joyeusetés en me permettant de varier un minimum mon alimentation, ça me va.
