Purchased one month back. Clean appearance, does the task at reasonable price. When emptying manually, tank handle is sturdy for carrying, but needs some care to reset tank, i.e., alignment guides while useful but are not formable for resetting tank position. Works fine when using discharge hose to empty into sump pit (or alternate disposal area.

This has been wonderful for our home. There has been so much humidity here this summer that our carpet was feeling damp along with lots of other things in the house. After 24 hours the carpet was dry and the salt would even come out of the shaker. We haven't hooked it up to a drain line but will probably do that next summer. I have been dumping the tank about 2-3 times a day and it's full when I do. It was so easy to set up and I love that it's also filtering the air. I highly recommend this unit.

Number listed on Amazon was Frigidaire. Frigidaire is a joke, Im happy that I didn't have to dealing with them. I call the number on the back of the machine and got Honeywell, They were very fast, nice and they are sending us a new unit. Thank you Honeywell!

Too small for a large basement, runs a lot. Also as other reviews have stated, the humidity sensor reads high by 5-15%. The fan on my unit had a high pitched whine that was better on the HIGH fan setting, but was still annoying and could be heard through the carpeted floor upstairs. Ended up returning it and getting a Comfee brand 70pt unit that does a much better job at a MUCH quieter volume.

I love that it efficiently and quickly removes excess humidity. It is programmable to run for a specified time or until a certain level of humidity is reached. The only problem we’ve had is that it is a little too loud for sleeping. So, itnis never run at night. Otherwise, a great dehumidifier.

Working fine after several months so far. Reviewers have noted that all these units for vendors in this price range are made in China and have an expected life of 2-3 years. I recommend getting the extended warranty, because the factory warranty is only for one year full replacement and some units die sooner.

We have been using this for about a month and have not had any problems with the unit so far. It runs for 20 hours and than we empty use the water for our garden. So far this unit has worked like it should, low noise, and the damp and musty smell has gone away from the room.

So far, so good. It seems like most dehumidifiers have awful reviews. We bought this Honeywell 50-pint unit to replace our broken dehumidifier. This unit has a much larger capacity and is really quiet (at least compared to our last 2). I'm completely happy with this purchase.

I'm very happy with this purchase. Once i opened it, it's obvious that it was a quality product from Honeywell and most importantly, backed with a 5 year warranty so I feel good about that.Used it for a week now and so far so good - not too loud like my old dehumidifier and it really works at keeping the humidity to my desired %.Only issue I had was trying to remove the air filter- you need to push down on two sides at the top of the filter to get it to pop out automatically, rather than pushing just on one side - it actually has markings on the filter top but i ignored them at first. Once you figure that out, it's simple to just press to unlock the filter and wash (i like that I don't have to buy separate filters to replace also).Overall high quality product and so far very satisfied. Will update if any problems occur.
