MTinHD 16x20 Paint by Numbers for Adults DIY Oil Painting with Wooden Framed Klimt - Mrs. Bauer

Paint was a bit on the thick side. I wish the containers had been a bit larger. Ran out of 3 of the most used colors. Luckily I had leftover paints from another set that I mixed to make due. Brushes were excellent. The tiny areas were a challenge, but luckily I have jewelers magnification that allowed me to paint easier. Loved the outcome! It was nice the canvas was mounted on a stretcher frame. Only measures 15 1/2 by 19 1/2!

For a paint-by-number piece, this is very well done. It is not exactly true to the original piece but it is close enough for most people. It is fun to do and best suited for adults because of all the small detail. Some of the lighter painted areas will need more than one coat of paint so the number doesn't show through the paint.

It turn out great, but the head was too close to the top and when framed cut a very small section off the head. Expect to take a very long time to complete as there are many, many small areas to paint in order to get the right look and shading.

Hi, if the paint is too thick get an acrylic flow medium and mix a few drops at a time to thin it out. This will make it easier to paint.Do yourself a favor and get a set of good/professional brushes.The real Mrs. Bauer painting by Klimt has gold foil on it. Once I'm done painting I'm going to look at the original and gold foil those spots.This is a gift for my daughter.

Was as described. Had to change a little bit of the color to highlight some areas. Of not this is not the full picture of the original the whole left side is missing but still a very good representation of the original most expensive painting ever sold as hanging in the NY art gallery. Loved it and made me buy two more!

Gustav Klimt is one of my favorite painters and I was thrilled to be able to find this piece from his "golden phase" but was worried that the paints may not reflect his dynamic work. I was happy to discover that the paints I received were perfect and my finished work was just as vibrant as the original by Klimt. It is also much easier to work on a pre-framed canvas.

Love the sturdy wooden frame and the complexity of the painting - would love more of certain colors that repeat often that would be my only criticism.
