CD/DVD Case - 256 Capacity

This CD case is perfect for what I needed. The plastic flap where the CD's go into do have to be removed, but it is fast and after removing about 50+ of them in one sitting, I did not rip the plastic underneath. It appears to be good quality and is the a perfect storage option for a small house. When this one fills up, I will purchase another!UPDATE 7/25/16- With about 25-30 CD's in it, it has now torn at the carrying strap on both sides. This has been kept stored away in a drawer, so it has had minimal use. I will not be buying this case again.

I put 130 CDs in it and it is quite full. I don't see how it could possibly hold 250. Also within minutes of filling one side with about 100 CDs the whole section ripped out from the binding. At least the sleeve section is intact so I can still use the case but the section with the 100 CDs is now floating freely in the case. The section with the sleeves was very poorly anchored into the spine with only thin fabric holding it. The weight of the CDs caused it to rip out very easily. Other than that the case does protect the CDs. It seems with a little more careful engineering they could have made it more substantial. I've now had it for a year and more of the sleeves are falling out. I do like the strap to carry it with.

Zero stars if that were possible! I just received this and was excited to organize all of my discs--however, after filling the first half of the binder tonight, the entire section detached at the seam of the binder, making the whole "organization concept" a complete waste of money! I am so mad! I was excited to get all of loose discs organized in a book style binder only for it to detach from cheap metal, "half-way" style hooks at the seam and it is not possible to reattach! Do not waste your money! I buy hundreds of items annually on amazon and seldom leave reviews, but this needed one.

We have just recently taken the plunge to pull all of our kids' movie DVDs from their cases and place them into this CD/DVD case. We have a DVD player in our car and this is so much easier to deal with! We don't fill up the DVDs to capacity, but it's nice to have everything in one place (we place ours in between our kids - they have bucket seats and it fits perfectly between them). Also, the kids don't have to choose what movies to bring when we go on vacation - they have all of their choices!!! It's also convenient when they go to their grandparents' house and want to take a movie with them - now they just take the whole thing! It saves us space on our shelves as well. Overall, we're thrilled (kids, too)!

There are a lot of things to like about this case, but only if you are extremely patient and have no desire to store the booklets that come with your cds.The case itself is very sturdy and well made, and it comes with a strap. The cd pockets are transparent over white fabric and are arranged in two equal groups of pages separated by a few inches to help the case lie flat when it is opened The pages are fixed in place and cannot be moved. There is a small mesh pocket attached to the rear cover of the case.Unfortunately (and it is a big unfortunately) every single pocket was sealed when I received the item. I had to go through and scratch at each and every pocket until the perforated area split and then peel the top and center area away (and try to throw each piece away as it clung to my hand through the magic of static electricity). Not fun. No, not fun at all but miles better than when i realized that my case couldn't be zipped closed when fully loaded It wasn't a near thing, either -- the zippers were fully two inches apart.I am going to have to order another case (Case Logic's large model), pull all the cds out and reinsert them. What fun! I'd be furious except that I can use this for my kids' computer games, and it is sturdy enough to work well in that capacity.Bottom line: although the pockets are big enough to accept cd notes and disks, the binder is simply not deep enough to accommodate them. Figure half as many cds if you want to save notes. (The notes in my case are from rock, country, and folk music, btw -- not the biggest inserts out there.)

I received my case promptly but was annoyed that when I put the case in front of me with the logo on the front and opened it like a book that the pages where upside down. If I turned the case over with the logo on the back, the pages where correct with the zipper tail at the correct bottom location. Although a minor annoyance, I complained in the feedback link that the pages where installed upside down. The company immediately sent me a replacement. I would not have asked for one, since the case was still serviceable and already full of my dvds. When I received the replacement, it was oriented exactly the same way. Apparently, this is the way it is designed (as a left handed book or the logo is on the back). Although I would suggest that they change this, they are without question a reputable company and the quality of the case is clearly a cut above the cheaper cases out there.

This is a great CD/DVD case. I ordered it to save room in my house, as I had too many DVD cases sitting around. This DVD case is well constructed and is sturdy. I had read other comments that you had to tear open the pocket to insert the DVDs...that was not the case for me. This DVD case was ready to go when I received it. The DVD slots were ready as soon as I opened the case. It comes with a removable strap for carrying. I like this feature, because I do not need the strap and was able to remove it. I highly recommend this to anyone thinking about purchasing.

Well constructed and the capacity is great. Having to separate and remove those plastic whatever you call them from 256 compartments is a royal pain in the tush (minus 1 star for that). My other issue and concern is the longevity of it with 256 dvd/cd's inserted. I filled my first one to the hilt and noticed when you get approximately half way through, there appears to be a strain on the inner disc sleeves when turning the pages. Hope they don't tear. Other than those two things it is a good product that I would recommend. I purchased 3 for our collection and ditched all the plastic cases (recycled).
