Steel Frame Protector (6-Ounce Spray)

Keeps the inside of my steel mountain bike rust free. Good product so far.

If you ride steel, you need this. I ride vintage 80's steel bikes, and I always spray the frame when I tear them down for the first time.

The material itself likely works fantastic, however, the execution of the delivery system is bad. The tube that is supplied with the can WILL NOT stay put, if you don't hold it, spraying shoots it off. When you do hold it, it leaks everywhere. What should be a relatively simple, fast job, becomes a big messy pain. Wear gloves. Put the frame in a stand. Hold the tube in place and use some paper towels while doing so. Eventually the job gets done.

Easy to apply. Could easily do a few frames with this can. I know people who have rusted through custom road frames. Since I'm a mt biker and my whip's gonna get muddy, I knew this was a must.

Used for a couple of applications, may slow down rust but is awfully messy in the process. Leaks out of frames and becomes a sticky film.

This is the real deal. Bought some for my Merz special edition. Flows in nicely, set up like honey.

Oil itself seems quite good but the straw that came with mine doesn't fit into the nozzle! I had to borrow one from a bottle of brake cleaner which made a better fit but still leaked a bit. You do not want this stuff spraying all over.For this reason I wish that I had bought the other frame saver oil.
