Excellent - my go-to pan for just about everything
Update: I bought this pan in Nov 2013, used it daily, and finally decided it needed to be replaced in March 2016 (a bit over 2 years). The non-stick coating has finally worn down enough that eggs and soft carbs (pre-cooked potatoes, rice, pasta) are starting to stick rather noticeably. I love this pan so much I'm just buying another of the exact same thing.Original review:Okay, I love the hell out of this pan. I use it for almost everything, from my morning breakfast scramble to reheating pizza to boiling pasta. It lives on my stove and is my first choice for everything except boiling eggs (it's rather big for just a couple of eggs!) or making soup. This pan is heavy enough to cook fairly evenly, but not so heavy that it's a danger to my glass stove top or real work to move around. I have no problem maneuvering it one-handed to pour or scrape out the food. The non-stick coating is very good. It's held up well to being used for three meals a day for over a year now. There's one little nick where someone - not naming names - used a fork to stab something out of the pan, but other than that, there's no visible wear, and the nick doesn't seem to hurt much. Eggs stick slightly if I get the pan too hot and then try to scramble them before the bottoms have set, but once the pan cools and I run some water over it, I can just pinch the cooked-on eggs off with my fingers or gently rub them off with a soft sponge - clean-up doesn't get easier than that.I will note that the only time I take this pan to high heat is when I'm cooking pasta, and even then I bring the heat back down to medium once it's boiling. Mostly I cook at 2 or 3 on my stove dial (4 is medium). In some non-stick pans, high heat can ruin the Teflon coating. I have not run into that problem with this pan, but I don't push it, either. All the handles stay cool (pan and lid). I adore the little helper handle, which is a life saver when this thing is full of water and I need to get it from the stove to the sink to pour it out.The lid is nice - and I wouldn't have a fryer with out one - but because of its domed shape, it doesn't fit in my lid rack very well. Your mileage may vary.

A Perfect Nonstick Pan
This is the second pan of this type we have bought - the first was a smaller skillet. Both came with glass lids so you can keep an eye on how covered cooking is proceeding. The size and depth of this pan are terrific! It's become the pan I use the most for all kinds of things. One major advantage is that the depth of the pan really reduces spatter and the need for cleaning the stove and counter when frying or sautéing. The price is also excellent. Most of my pans are All-Clad, and I expect to have them for life (mine, not theirs <grin>). Nonstick pans, though, don't last as long. I figure I can replace this pan about 6 times before spending as much as I would for a single All-Clad nonstick pan, and it cooks just as well, in my experience, and lasts just as long. While we have lots of cookware, the simple truth is that I can cook anything with just five pans - these two Simply Calphalon pans, our two All-Clad LTD Windsor-style saucepans (2 qt and 6 qt), and the large 8 qt All-Clad LTD stockpot. An argument could be made for adding a Dutch Oven, which we use infrequently. This may sound expensive, but if you use them for 20-30 years, they're worth every penny, for a person who loves to cook. These pans won't have hot spots or burn your food, and why use crappy equipment when you're cooking?

ABSOLUTELY MY FAVORITE COOKING PAN NOW
I love to make stir fry dishes and wanted a pan that was large with sloped sides so I had plenty of room to vigorously stir fry the food without making a mess and this pan absolutely fills my needs. Even heating, non-stick and plenty of room to stir fry meat, a LOT of veggies and 3 packages of cooked Ramen noodles without worrying about spillover while cooking. I also use it for large capacity meals without worrying about spillover while cooking. It is a good sturdy weight and sits on my electric flat top stove nice and flat. For those whose had their pan warp, I can only think they really overheated it in order for that to happen because this is a very sturdy pan.

Fantastic for a year, replaced after year and a half
Like most everybody else here, I absolutely loved this pan at first. Great size & shape, great handles & lid, excellent cooking. But it's wearing out disappointingly quickly. After about a year and a half of routine use as my main general-purpose pan, the coating is visibly wearing on the bottom and some foods are beginning to stick a bit. This is with all due care - only plastic utensils, hand washed with only liquid soap, medium heat, never used in oven, etc.I could probably use it for another year or so of slowly increasing annoyance, but I'm not going to bother. I'm going to try its main competitor, the Anolon Advanced Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Ultimate Pan, and hope that it lasts longer. And hey, if not, it's not that big of a deal to just get used to replacing my main pan with something like this every couple of years in order to keep enjoying the great cooking they offer at first. Since the rest of my pots & pans get much less use in comparison, they still last for ages, so it's not that horrible of an expense for the benefits.

Love this pan.
My best friend bought this and swore by it so I thought I’d try it as I needed to replace my main pan. I absolutely love it. It’s so easy to clean and maintain. They are super expensive so I’m not buying the set all at once. But I was so happy with this I bought another pot for boiling noodles and making spaghetti. Between the two I’ve pretty much replaced my other entire set. I’ll probably buy another smaller sauce pan and complete what I need for my kitchen. It has been such a great product and I don’t see myself replacing it any time soon like my other expensive pan set I bought a couple years ago.

It is as good as advertised.
I would prefer the handles on the pan and the lid to be material that does not heat. I never use this kind of pan in the oven, only on the stove top. Otherwise it's great.

Great.
The best pan for stir fry out there. This has got to be my 10th pan. As i do not like to beat up the pans coating. So i chnage out the pan about once a year. I feel that this protects my health because it does not give a chance to flake off.
