KJL 10w LED Bulb A19 / E27, Brightness 950lm, Replacement 75W Incandescent, Warm White

We ordered this bulb to go with a lamp that turned out to be to small for our outdoor light poles. We use CFL in our home office and hate them. They do not last as long as they should, they often fall apart when they get old. They "hang out" till we can take them to the town transfer station, they sometimes break then we have to deal with "hazmat" issues. Oh, back to this bulb. We ordered Warm White because we prefer it. Our office has many computers and it is a better light than the harsh white light. Yes, you have to understand it is not as bright. Put these in our cans, recessed lights in the ceiling they preformed outstanding! The cans are IC or in contact lights, that can and do touch insulation. For that reason they have sensors if they get to hot. These bulbs cast 100W of light, in a can that only supports 60W. It has been 5 days now and with them on all day they do not create heat that would turn the light off with the recessed light safety feature. As far as the bulb, standard socket, just like the "outlawed" 100 watt bulbs. A better bulb with good heft and a strong plastic shell and firm mount for the supporting electronics. We did not use this in a dimmed system. Our power is standard 110, actually 120 volt (single phase) standard home wiring. We have tested several LED bulbs from 60w to 100w. This brand looks like a bulb, acts like a bulb, and is a great price. We will be back for more, would like to see a "Value Pack" of 6 lights from the same vendor. Update to above. Well "not so much" after 7 months the bulb started flashing, as in just like a strobe light so much for a 50,000 hour lifespan lasted 2,100 hours or less.

The bulb started to dim after a few months of intermittent use in a walk-in closet. Not a good value.

Good bulb, I ordered one KJL 3,000k 950lumen of this model, one Evobrite 3,000K it doesn't specify lumen, Kunshi Unify 10W 1,100 lumen 4,000k, and my test is: Evobrite is about 3,150 kelvin and approx 900 lumen I put it in my kitchen because as is more bright white is better for my kitchen and is not near the ugly blueish white of the daylight lamps, in other words is a neutral white tending to warm KJL ........is about 2,750 kelvin and approx 800 lumen I put it in my bedroom because I prefer more warm white tone in the bedroom to keep the colors more relax Kunshi....is about 3,800 kelvin a more near to blueish daylight but not reaching that ugly blue tone, approx 1,100 lumen it looks almost a incandescent 100W bulb, I put it in my father's kitchen wich is white almost everywhere and makes a beautiful marriage in a white kitchen, for those with a kitchen with colors and mohogany wood I'll reccomend the Evobrite

These are very bright! These are bright white so beware....not so natural lighting. I prefer the softer white version of the same bulb.

Purchased 12 of these in May 2015 and was very happy initially as the light is bright and beautiful. However, 2 of the 12 bulbs have failed already--1 at 5 months, 1 at 6 months. They claim to have a 2 year warranty but the window to return to Amazon is no longer open and I am not going to be sending a bulb to Japan. For the price of these LED bulbs, I was expecting them to last MUCH longer.

Good price but Warm white isn't quite the same as other bulbs have- pretty close though

With a 100w equivalent LED bulb in my desk lamp, it's like having a band new lamp. Great for reading with. ** Update - Yesterday, 01/19/2016, the light bulb started flashing like like a Disco Light. So much for the 50,000 hours lifespan. Will have to see if the 2 year warrenty is any good. ** Latest - Today, 01/20/2016, I was notified by KJL that they have made arraingments for a replacment bulb. Very quick and positive response, this is the type of company that deserves repeat business.
